I rally liked the show itself and had a great ploy. One of the few things that I disliked about this anime was that the characters had little to no depth. This also applied to the clans only four of the seven kings were shown. Overall a seven .
[K] is currently my favorite in this 2012 Fall Series. Compared to other Anime, it seems more mystery. A Group of People who can use powers more like Magic, going to fight against another group more like City Polices. And, their power shows up!
The place that the story is set in is a very realistic future of Japan, even though the place where they are in is an alternative world. From what I have seen so far, this story is about different fractions in a city, and their war, something that is interesting. The story has lots of potentials, and could easily bloom out, but I am afraid that it probably won’t, because this story seems a bit too complicated. After three episodes I find a lot of things especially characters confusing, because I still don’t have the slightest idea why they are there and what role they have. The humor is something that this anime does not lack. I find the main character amusing and sometimes hilarious, for example (small spoiler) a guy comes to murder him and the following day they end up eating breakfast together.
Certain characters in “K” are extremely flawed, and it would be unfair and cruel to completely bash the characters in this show. I’m going to do it anyways. Neko is the centerpiece to the diverse character cast in this show. She appears to be obsolete, as her true purpose is to provide mankind’s two favorite things: kitties and titties (pun intended?). There is actually a website designated for these two specific things, so do some googling if you adore Neko. Kuroh, who appeared to be awesome initially, went on a downward spiral due to his association with Neko and Yashiro. Don’t get me wrong. All the characters are incredibly unique, but true character development and backstories are non-existent thus far, and 13 episodes will not compensate for such lacking details.
- - - Oops, I can't wait for upcoming next episodes.
So I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into, but after I saw this anime, I was SO FLIPPIN HAPPY that I stumbled across it. In these 12 episodes you get so attacked to all the main characters that its fricking amazing. Definitely a Must-Watch for me!
