Girl complains about her life from the first second to the last. She doesn’t like her eyes ‘cause they’re sad. She doesn’t like one of her family dogs because he’s black. She doesn’t like that her mother works. She doesn’t like that she eats alone. She doesn’t like praise. She doesn't like that her father is gone. She doesn’t like that she’s not a good daughter. She doesn’t like herself. If the above started draining your energy then you’ve a good grasp of what this 24 minute and 24 second anime is all about. Brightest aspect of this OVA is that the main character recognizes her suffering as insignificant and her narration regarding all of her dislikes can be taken with a whatevs and a pinch of salt. Yet having someone to tell her woes too makes her just a bit happier and when all is said and done that is likely what the animators had in mind when they were working on this project. The only voice heard is the main character’s. All responses from other characters are handled like a “s/he said” backstory. She is not only the focal of the anime she is the crafter of her own tale. Every bit of information viewers get comes from her. She doesn’t necessarily want people to know her story but speaking her mind gives her some peace. -- If you like sob stories this is for you.
