Festival season has come to the village of Flatta. The festival has been held there for the past 250 years, but as the only person who knows its entire history since it was started, Azusa has distanced herself from it to let the villagers keep their independence. But her family has shown interest in it and seems excited to see it, so she makes up her mind to change the way she interacts with the village tradition... and thus the one-day-only coffee shop, The Witch's House, was born. Will the villagers enjoy this little shop Azusa's family has created?

Taking advantage of this, Reiji makes a tidy profit--enough to open his own drugstore. An elf who can't aim his bow? Give him some eye drops! A dragon who accidentally breathes fire? Cough syrup! Both anime feature someone from another world who is brought to a world and, rather than going out and adventuring, settle down and help the people around them. They live near a village and gather a "family" around them.
Both anime do not have much fighting and mainly giving a more peaceful atmosphere. The mains are people who transport to another world and given a new chance to live a much slower and happy life with their new 'family'
It feels like it was made to be a side by side comparison.
It's almost the same anime. both animes characters are adorable too.
Miss Kobayashi is your average office worker who lives a boring life, alone in her small apartment–until she saves the life of a female dragon in distress. The dragon, named Tohru, has the ability to magically transform into an adorable human girl (albeit with horns and a long tail!), who will do anything to pay off her debt of gratitude, whether Miss...

Kobayashi's dragon maid & killing slimes for 300 years are both fantasy animes with yuri & GL fanservice, cute wholesome vibes, comedy, a dragon girl in the main cast (Tohru from dragon maid and Laika from killing slimes), and deal with isekai/"reverse isekai" which are basically two sides of the same coin.
If you like slice of life tales of adventures with cute characters, both of these animes will be for you. They both follow supernatural tropes and are more for the light hearted, slice of life feeling. Though in all sense, you'll probably enjoy Kobayashi san chi no maid dragon, in my experience.
Though the setting is vastly different, "I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level" feels similar in nature to Dragon maid, after all, the tight family dynamic is almost identical. I personally prefer this show to Miss Kobayashi.
Lonely thirty-seven-year-old Satoru Mikami is stuck in a dead-end job, unhappy with his mundane life, but after dying at the hands of a robber, he awakens to a fresh start in a fantasy realm...as a slime monster! If you want to be joyful you can see both of this series. Have a great time guys and if you want you can check the books there are very similars.
They are both about reincarnated magic users that use magic in a way that made them over powered. They both are cute but reincarnated as a slime is more gore driven then killing slimes, They both are exciting and cute and have a good amount of story.
Both involve slimes isekis and leveling up. "Reincarnated has a more complex story line that weaves in world building and sociology. In my opinion it's the better anime.
