Struggling with life and society, high school student Michio Kaga wanders about the Internet and lands on an odd website. The website, featuring a number of questions and a point-based system, allows one to create skills and abilities for a character. Upon completing his character, Kaga was transported to a game-like fantasy world and reborn as a strong man who can claim idol-level girls. Thus begins the cheat and harem legend of a reborn man!

When anime adaptation of this very explicit erotic series was announced I was taken bit aback, because I knew this series from the manga adaptation. I was bit worried as well, because some initial character designs were pretty bad, but studio Passione absolutely delivered in the end. If you want the full experience you need to watch the uncut version. The title is bit misleading if you consider this anime, because even before the first episode aired, I knew there is no way for the story to go much beyond the second girl joining the party. This isn’t your typical isekai harem, where the MC gets already sizable harem after short time. This adaptation teases the full harem at the beginning, in the opening and at the very end for that reason. Personally, I would prefer no-spoiler approach rather this need to proof to the viewers this is supposed to be harem after all. This was the worst aspect of the anime adaptation, because of the spoilers and because it ruins what I think is the strongest aspect of the series. This slow build up and rather careful establishing of relationships is what I learned to appreciate about the series. Especially as I did reread all manga volumes for my manga review. Where most other similar harem focused series are already at five or six girls this series is at two. It takes its time to establish characters and relations between them rather than jumping on the new character as soon as possible. Slavery is other point, where I expected to see viewers having problem with the series. The series meekly excuses the relationship by her supposed consent to sexual relations with her master. It doesn’t make any logical sense, why would she give it beforehand. Unless it was specific toward MC only. I don’t remember any such distinction being made. There are also obligations of owner to take care of slave, which in contrast makes perfect sense. Master has to provide food and other necessities to his slaves. He has to pay taxes for his slaves as well. Slavery rather than mere human trafficking is established more like form of punishment or paying debts. The series establishes that early on. What is refreshing about the whole ordeal is the fact, the main protagonist is actually balanced personality even if the effect of his racial skill [1] is probably taking some effect. He establishes sort of routine, which gives the series slice-of-life feel as well. It also makes the series seem bit repetitive. This is further pushed by the fact there is no antagonist nor heroic goal (e.g. saving the world). What is to like about the series it gives a lot of effort to establish world and all its mechanisms. This is all done through the eyes of main character as he uses quite rational approach to explore the RPG elements of the world. He makes hypothesis based on his observations or what he learns from others, then tests it. The story is told solely from the viewpoint of the MC. It has lot of action scenes as well including some rather gruesome scenes [2]. Let’s not forget some comical moments as well. Visually the series looks mostly good including fight animations. Voice acting and selection of VA is good. OP and ED is ok, but I don’t care about it much. Overall, good adaptation of the “plot” heavy slice-of-life isekai RPG. I watched all episodes, even if there were points when it felt duplicitous, because I knew the story from the manga. I can recommend only, if you want something in category of “cultured” anime.  Spoilers [1] Humans have racial trait “sex maniac” [2] For example beheading sleeping bandits.
