Two nobles, Johann Gustav and his niece Hildegard, arrive at Nobu one day. Hildegard makes an almost laughably complicated order. “Something tasty, but nothing smelly, spicy, sour, bitter or hard. Pretty much the exact same plot in both show. Person from a fantasy world visits a restaurant on Earth, tries the food and finds it to be The Best Thing Ever Tasted.

Both anime have the same theme, people from all social statuses, noble or poor, coming to the cafe/restaurant to try the 'otherworldly' (Japanese) food. The anime expresses the tastiness and texture of the meals, so when you watch them you get a mouthwatering hungry feeling.
