Both of these shows focus on people who die of overwork and are reincarnated into the body of a child. These children still remember their past lives (or bits of it) and use it when they are dealing with others in the new world. They are tamers and seem to tame nearly every monster they come across and make them their friend, and are able to use those friendships to help them later on.

Both of these anime focus on having a slow life with creatures from that world. They have child protagonists who have reincarnated and have memories from their past life, and use that to their adventage. Their best friends are their summoned/tamed creatures and they treat them like they deserve. Both are great to watch on a chill day.
