This is my first critic, so I hope you won’t be mad if my judging is bad. J Oh, there may be humour, so don’t take things too seriously ;)
PS : There also may be some mistakes, forgive me for my bad English :c

First thing, what is Danmachi?
Danmachi (“Is it wrong to pick up girls in the dungeon”) is a seinen which recounts the story of a young adventurer, Bell Cranel who wants to help his Familia before meeting the beautiful and talented Aiz Wallenstein.

You can easily guess from the synopsis and title that yes, there will be a love story AND girls, wow, who could have guessed. Indeed, the first fact I mentioned is going to be one of the essential points in the plot, even if at the end we still don’t know if they will be together or not. Besides love, the main story goes about Bell wanting to be a recognized as a great adventurer and helping his Familia and goddess for money. The story in my opinion is kinda simple and well done. The story progresses, doesn’t get stuck and the main character evolves. However, I still can’t get over how Bell reacts, he seriously is like a child. There we enter the comedy part of Danmachi.

Sincerely, we all know this specific anime where the boy meets a girl and then blushes every time he sees her (even if sometimes he has a good reason to blush :smirk:.), sometimes even runs away from embarrassment and  most times is too shy to ask her to go out with him. Why? Just ask her! You can’t be a brave adventurer if you aren’t even brave enough to ask her out! .-.

Okay now, we talked enough about the whole theme of this anime, let’s talk about the animation. Honestly, the animation and the drawings are pretty well done, concerning the characters and the monsters, the nature, etc. But, there is still one thing I’d like to point out even if it’s more of a personal opinion. Damn, why do animes need girls with huge boobs? However, I did some research before taping all of this and I found out that one of the tags of the anime is “ecchi”. Fine, now I can at least a bit understand why the heck there is some fan service in there.

Next step: the characters. Good thing is, each one of them as their unique character, Bell being naïve and courageous, Hestia protective, childish and jealous. This does that the spectator appreciate the characters because of who they are and how they react. My personal favourite was Aiz Wallenstein because of her fighting skills :D

The last thing I have to talk about is the music. But clearly, this is really a personal thing. To be honest, I didn’t like the opening, so I skipped it every time. Same thing for the ending. But, the music really fits with the history, the décor and the characters. It is adventures, kinda like a game music for me. But it still is nice. I must admit, something it reminds me of some sort of Pokemon or Zelda music. Please don’t hurt me ToT Let’s just say it has something familiar !

In general, I quite liked the anime, even if it wasn’t my favourite or one of them. It was fun to watch, interesting to see how the main character and his relationship with others evolved and also how every time Hestia got jealous about his feelings for Aiz (fufufuu--). If you like adventure story with a little bit of humour, fighting, magic and fantasy stuff, maybe you should give it a try! :D

Aaand this is pretty much the end of my critic. I hope you won’t misjudge me to much after reading all of this and feel free to tell me if you liked this anime. Another thing, if anything is wrong in what I said, also feel free to comment and correct me! See ya in a next review! :3

Generic, but still entertaining. Unfortunately has RPG elements forcefully shoehorned in, but that comes with the territory. A lot less fan service and perversion than I thought there would be, which is good. It did have its moments though. The characters are likeable, especially the protag, and the pacing isn't too fast or slow. Solid fantasy show with some superfluous power level mechanics.

So about this review, firstly to say, this show is terribly overrated IMHO. I need to tell you, that I’m big fan of all kinds of RPG games, BUT same as in SAO case, They just fucked up. Even tho I still think DanMachi is a bit better than SAO, I can’t fully grasp the reason why. Maybe it’s just that I didn’t actually expect much from DanMachi. I just wanted something I wouldn’t have to think about too much. Which is exactly what happened. So I got what I asked for.

Animation is pretty. Colors are vibrant and 18th floor of the dungeon was really beautiful. Attacks were…okay I guess. Animated nicely, but that „kill-it-all-spell“ just….was really bad. I’d much rather see Bell grow, became more confident and strong thanks to his own power and resolve. Which…didn’t happen. He just still depended on that shitty skill.

Sound was okay. Nothing exactly worth remebering.

To tell the truth story is kind of nonexistent. It seems like a bunch of absolutely random accidents.

Characters were bland. Bell is just…like he’s not even there. Maybe he’s like that on pupose, so that more people can fantasize about being in his place. But he just seems boring. Hestia was a bit better, tho fanservice was notable everywhere. From those I liked – like Ryuu, Crozzo and Aiz, they just didn’t get enough screentime to develop (if they actually would – viz Bell who didn’t).

Overal lit was okay, nice average anime, thanks to which, your brain can pack his suicases and go on a holiday, cause you won’t need it. Give it a go if you’ve got nothing better to do ;)

This one I only watched, because it got so many positive reviews everywhere. Judging by the title it looked mediocre and after reading the story, it looked even worse.

So how did it work out? Well, at the start it is just bad, plain old, simple BAD. Why is it bad? Because it is about the exazct same thing the title says. Want to compare it to something? Here you are: Sword art! Now that starts out good.

I thought about stopping this like 100 times in the first 3 episodes, but it was obvious that among the ridiculous amount of stupid, it actually has some potential at least to be a good passing of time.

Thankfully it gives up onb being a harem/ecchi anime after 3-4 episodes and, finallly, things start to happen.

Story: Its forced. Basically the gods (from different cultures) come down to earth and bless some people with the powers of a video game character. You see why its forced. Getting stuck in a video game is already overused, so they tried something else. And came up with the worts possible idea...

Truth be told, the story has its good parts, most of it is basic: weak character, hero-type, chosen one, becomes stronger by every episode. There are some dark sides to the story which are pretty good and it saves the whole thing. Basically its like SAO without the creators having balls. 5.5/10

Animation: Altough the style is not as good as SAO, its stylish and good to watch. But the real strenght of this anime is the fight scenes. They are very well coreographed. If it wasnt for those, I would have stopped watching it. 8/10

Music: good 7/10

Characters: well, Im still trying to decide if i like most of them or I dont. The main character needs a lot of improvement, but he actually is improving. Ill call the characters acceptable. 7/10

Overall: If your looking for an SAO clone that is weaker, but still a lot of fun, watch this. If your looking for a Log Horizon clone where things actually happen, watch this. There is not one drop of originality in this, but at least they made a pretty good mix out of all the ideas. Out of the animes that are similar to SAO, this one is probably the most fun. For example, its superior to Accel World, its also better than the second season of Log Horizon. Not an epic, far from it..., but its a lot of fun. 7/10

If the first few episodes werent so bad, id give it a 7.5.

This anime is everything it is sold to be, it has a hero trying to get stronger for the people he loves and a story line that has few holes in it.

The story starts of  about a white haired boy named bell who was regected by the other guilds? gods? god guilds?...     god guilds... any way they think hes a too weak to join their guilds. This causes bell to feel depressed.. momenteraly because, all of a sudden the goddess hes been looking for shows up and decides she 'likes' him and hires him in a way a  god would. He then meets the his hero and the person he looks upto most Ais who he then begins to try to chase and catch up to to show to the other guilds and adventurers hes better than he looks.

In a sumery of story i would say that its similar to how naruto trys to chase after susuke and prove himself to everyone and their departed family's.

The animation is similar to that of sword art however the hero in sword art starts of as a baddass while bell is not.

Its a good watch if your like me and your running out of animes to watch or are just watching re-runs of dragon ball or tokyo ghoul.
