Inu X Boku secret service is good but the ending is not satisfactory. I mean, I guess you could watch the Special and read the manga but why is the anime so short?! But overall I like the story plot.
This was a very quick anime to watch. Other reviews say that it was repetitive which is true however it does have a really sweet ending that makes me give it a higher rating. There are definitely better anime series out there such as Kamisama Kiss and Bed and Breakfast for the Spirits. This show is a fun watch if you want a show with a light story line.
I loved inu x boku. The characters weren't all original but they were used in a way that was still interesting and entertaining. Honestly the end result I saw coming but there were some things I didn’t expect. The one character there for purely comedic relief made me want to barf or kill him, I prefer to take option two into consideration, but other than the pervert who assumed everything, not just everyone but everything on the planet, was either a sadist or a masochist annoyed me to no end but everyone else I know thought he was hilarious. That was the only thing that turned me off this anime but since he showed up far and few between I got through it all just fine. The happy ending almost made me cry it was so sweet. (I'm a sap for a happy ending what can I say) I recommend this to anyone who wants to see a very devoted guy make a very distrustful girl realize love can last.
Probably one of the strangest anime I've watched! Another reviewer said they would recommend it to novices, however, I most definitely would NOT. If you're not used to some of the styles and tropes of anime storytelling, this one might unduly turn you off to anime.
That said, I had a lot of fun with this one. The art and sound are pretty strong. I really enjoyed many of the characters and the voice acting contributed a lot to that. The plot was weak, and the fantasy elements were not necessary to the story but rather a sideline to incoprorate some cool fight scenes and character dynamics. This is first and foremost a romance. The whole monster "throwback" phenomenon was just fluff.
This one was recommended to me because I liked Kamisama Kiss and japanese mythology based anime, but I would say, if you also liked those things, that does not mean you'll like this. There are some key differences that might throw you off. Notably, a very perverse main love interest. While I can see very distinct similarities to Kamisama in InuBoku, I get the feeling InuBoku is performing in earnest what Kamisama was merely joking at.
Wow, I love this anime to much, it's one of my favourites. I love Miketsukami sm but Ririchiyo's attitude and personality is quite annoying but I started to tolerate it. The storyline is really cute of how Miketsukami became Ririchiyo's secret service agent and then a romance begins later in the episodes.. Ririchiyo slowly learns to return Soushi's feelings and learns that she's known him way back as a child. The Ova for this is adorable, you should definitely watch it after this, it's like the best episode tbh.
