I don't get all the praise for this show at all. The demis don't feel all that different from normal humans, the plot is just another excuse for a harem type anime. There isn't really anything original here. They could have made some interesting personalities out of the characters because of the demi thing but no such luck. It's about as cliche as anime gets with an unrealistic buff, knowledgeable sensei getting all the girls to swoon over him because he's kinda nice, I guess.

Couldn't stomach more than two episodes. They really ought to mention this stuff in the tags, can't stand harem shows and I went into this thinking this would be some sort of philosophical exercise in how demis and humans co-exist. Majorly disappointed to get just another high school harem with so called demis that are just like regular humans. Would not recommend but cliche anime fans will definitely get a kick out of this judging by the other reviews and forum discussions.

Male protagonists gets closer to a few girls, that are demi-humans, including succubus, dullahan (head separated from the body), snow woman and a vampire girls, all of which have a positive relationship to that main character. If you think of another trashy harem, prepare to be rick-rolled.

Everything in this anime have the potential to be trashy harem, but instead ends up the most wholesome “harem” I have ever watch. We have a school teacher interested in a bunch of girls due to their demi-human nature, but his interest is actually genuine research interest instead of being a lolicon. We have a succubus teacher, but instead of ending up seducing our main protagonist (or any other boy), she sees her “aphrodisiac” power as a problem. We have headless woman, but we discover that is a problem, if you do not have a neck and must carry your head with your hands all the time. Or a vampire, that have to deal with the sun. Or a snow woman avoiding everyone because she is afraid that she can freeze and hurt people around her. In this slice of life you will explorer the problems that such mythological demi-humans appear to have and how to handle it and make friends along the way. It is a wholesome slice-of-life / school-live with really responsible adult teachers. I am so used for harems (many girls likes a guy) to be trashy that I could not imagine having such a premise could end up in a wholesome enjoyable anime, showing me how good the high-school life was (not actually, real life is not an anime, but we do not watch anime to represent what is real-life but what we want it to be).

Animation is good enough to never see anything wrong, but it does not stand out.

The sound acting is really good and express the character feelings well, but the dubbed version lack of subtitles/labels for text messages, which could be a problem sometimes, but luckily those are not too often to lose track of what’s happening.

Overall, this anime surprised me in a positive way. If you feel nostalgic about school (assuming you are not in a school right now), this is a decent anime to watch. It might not make you laugh, but it will make you smile.

WAY better than I expected from the title. I thought this would be another "Monster Girl Doctor", but it was nothing like that. It was a sweet story about a teacher and his interactions with a few special (monster) students. Some pretty damn good animations here and there, ESPECIALLY the water at the end. That was insane. Anyway, there is no action, almost no usual highschool drama stuff or love stuff. They exist, but they are sprinkled throughout, not at all focused on. For those that want drama or action, this may not have much, but I know I loved it and will definitely watch it again sometime.

Great story, but it could be a little better. It isn't really that original considering that there are many demi-human highschool or adulthood anime out there like Monster Musume, but this is more cleaner (less innuendos) than the previous mentioned anime.

Also, I really found the episode where Kyouko goes to university to learn about herself interesting to watch. I could relate to that other intuitive supporting character.

The art and design is great. I especially like how Kyouko's flames look (not sure if it's because of the colour or the flame itself, but I think it's cool).

The music used in the intro and the end is fine, and probably would be better if a piano version was made. The voices sync with the characters as well as their expressions.

It was pretty nice to watch. I didn't like waiting too long to watch another episode after I finished one. However, even if I do like highschool/Demi-human genres, I don't think this would be my preferred anime to watch (I prefer sci-fi, mecha, magic and fantasy).

Overall, this was a great anime. I wouldn't expect less from Funimation, Kodansha and A-1 Pictures.
