The story follows the skilled hunter Kikuru Madan, who has decided to retire out of fear of wasting his youth. One day, a guild staff member suggests that he go on a quest with a new female martial artist named Hitamu Kyan. However, she keeps getting hit by monsters one after another.
This ... its glorious. The unhinged degeneracy truely amazed me from start to finish. Its entertaining, funny, lovely and executed with passion. Its content is dubious, at best. I can only describe it as Konosuba with extra spice. I had a blast watching it. Turns out that the "story" has some clever aspects to it, too. Yeah, its heavy on the H-trope of things but I don't mind that from time to time. All characters are very likeable. All in all very pleasant and entertaining.
Honestly, its a cute, enjoyable Border-H anime. The show actually does have a decent plot, and the characters are diverse, unique, and endearing in their own ways. The main protagonist of this ecchi-harem actually questions how these girls end up in such lewd positions. The show actually does explain why the monsters attack in such ways. The fight scenes are very well done, even better than popular fighting anime like Naruto, which simply shows jagged lines for movement. This show shows full movements, along with intricate choreography, for an ecchi anime. There are at least 3 scenes of border H per episode. I unironically would love a season 2.
I know ppl gonna hate on this anime big time just because its nothing more than a trashy ecchi but to those of us who set the right expectations from the start Id say its delivered plenty of goods. Comedy was funny. Fanservice was lewd. Characters were charming. What else is ther... story? This thing never pretended to have one and ppl shouldnt expect it to! Its a fun stupid lil show and it excels at being exactly that.
