Both anime have the high-stakes adrenaline feel, but include strategy and critical thinking into the plot. Not much else to say. If you like either of these anime, you're sure to like the other.

Both of these animes involve you putting your "life" on the line. Also both of these animes involve high stakes games that gets your blood floowing and has you on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next.

Both shows involve people fighting for their lives in dangerous (and sometimes brutal) games.
Imawa no Kuni no Alice had potential but failed miserably. Death Parade on the other hand is actually good!

Both anime feature people who are forced to play different games, in order to survive. The mental / psychological consequences of these games are also important in both anime.

GANTZ

Much to the annoyance of Kei, he and his childhood friend Kato have died, having been torn apart by a train. But rather than finding themselves at the gates of heaven, the duo materialize in a room full of strangers and a giant black sphere known as GANTZ. As if dying once wasn’t bad enough, the occupants of the room are then forced to embark on dangerous missions to kill strange aliens; missions that very few return from. Now, Kei, Kato, and a well-endowed friend must fight for their freedom with an arsenal of guns, high powered suits, and a very low chance of survival.

In both, you participate in a game where your life is on the line. Gantz is better than imawa no kuni no Alice. Be warned though, Gantz contains a lot of blood/gore.

In both, the characters are forced to participate in life or death games in order to survive. Alice is very short, I wish they make a full version of this anime. Gantz is also incomplete, the anime only covers the first part of the manga but they are both worth watching!

Gantz and Imawa no Kuni no Alice are extremely similar. Outside of the reason for entering the game, they both show groups of characters unwittingly enter a death game and struggle to survive multiple rounds, where the stakes are different and more messed up each time. The rules are narrated by a mysterious third party, and there's plenty of terrible feels. If you liked one there's really no way you'd dislike the other. Just bear in mind that both have non endings, but both have long, completed manga.

Game for survival you lose you die. alice had potential but it was short gantz is really good gets better as it goes on.

If you're a fan of the "Play or Die" category or "High Stakes Games", then you're going to love Btooom!. Both of the protagonists are seemingly trapped somewhere, and are pretty much trying to figure out how they got there, and why they're there.

People being cast away against their will to play a game in which it is play or die. The artstyle and animation quality is mostly similar too, as is the general feel of isolation in both shows.
Main difference is that wheras Btooom! is a battle royale style of series, Kuni no Alice has more of a cooperation incentive going for it.
Another difference is the character cast which is a single individual in Btooom! as opposed to a group of friends in Kuni no Alice. Characters are otherwise mostly different, but there are some minor characters with parallels

Imawa no Kuni no Alice features a number of sick games that the characters have to live through.
Btooom! on the other hand is a game becoming reality and they are forced to fight in a battle royale.

Both series feature people who are thrown into a new environment, after which they have to play a deadly game against strangers, former friends, and former enemies. I found the atmosphere to be similar in both series, so if you like one you might like the other as well.

Both anime deal with psychological "death games" that bring out a persons' dark side. They both question values and the extent someone would go in order to save their own skin/life.

Both anime follow strangers who are suddenly transported into a new place where they must compete to survive by playing psychological and strategic games. Both shows have lots of tension and danger that the characters must overcome by using their wits and physical strength. There is lots of suspense and dilemma as characters make decisions that not only impact themselves but also others around them.

mysterious, bloody, psychological. both animes have it all, i love death note and this one looks good too. so far.

Intense psychology, mind games and a tiny dash of psychopathy. I feel like these two go hand in hand. More so for the Alice in Borderlands manga over the anime though, because it's a lot longer and tells more of a story.

In the underbelly of the corporate world, a secret series of battles takes place called the Bus Game, whose participants are solicited randomly via letters in the mail. During the games, teams of three attempt to take into their possession a disk filled with corporate secrets; the winners are given increasingly high cash rewards, while the losers get nothing - or worse, they lose their lives. Toki, Kazuo and Nobu make up the "no name" team, and their goal is to win one billion yen each. Each has a reason to need the money and a secret, disturbing past; but with high stakes and mysterious employers, they can only hope to leave the game alive.

Two short ovas with very similar premises. These shows are similar in that the characters are allowed to cooperate with eachother. Furthermore, the characters in both shows are quite similar in terms of their lack of elaborate backgrounds and a convincing psychological profile.
Main differences in these shows is that Bus Gamer has its focus a lot stronger on bishounen or males doing manly things, whereas part of the cast in Kuni no Alice is female and has some heterosexual tension.
In line of this focus of character art, the animation and art quality in Bus Gamer is quite a bit worse than Kuni no Alice.

Both are shows which feature a group of people who is forced to risk their lives in a game. Also cooperation plays a significant role in both anime since it's the key to survive in said games.

These two anime's have exciting life threating games were the characters have to strain their brains to come out on top. If you're looking for a high stakes game to move to next, they both will satisfy your appetite
