This special is a two-part episode that takes place just after the main series.  The story for the episodes is kinda lame, but whatever, it follows the happy-go-lucky theme shown early in the series.  It is not necessary to watch for the main series, and really doesn't offer any tie-ins for possible future episodes.  Bit if you like the main series, this is a fun little extra for ya.
