Love Hina has the same simple love and comedy as Ichigo 100%. If you like a guy who is shy around girls and ironicly have lots of pretty girls around him than you would love Love Hina

ermeyers ermeyers says...

Two words can sum up both of these anime: ecchi and harem. In both of these shows there is a shy guy that is surrounded by hot girls. Even better, they all love this male protagonist. Now, don't you wish you were that guy? Of course you do! Basically, if you liked one of them, then you will like the other.

flamewizzy21 flamewizzy21 says...

Both Love Hina and Ichigo 100% are great harem anime. Both have their fair share of ecchi scenes which are sometimes followed by a "painful" misunderstanding. The protagonists, Keitaro and Junpei, are both a little confused about which girl to pick. Despite their... "desirable problems"... each protagonist has a similar goal: to get into a certain school. Ichigo 100% has a more ecchi-driven plot than Love Hina. Love Hina, even though it has many ecchi scenes, seems to have a plot that is not just an excuse for the ecchiness. To sum it all up: If you like ecchi anime and harem anime, both these shows are good.

jurexplay jurexplay says...

Both Ichigo 100% and Love Hina are rather light hearted harem stories concentrated on relatioships between girls and the clumsy and pervy main shounen. Ehh, both series are good if you want a laugh or a bit of romance. Those are enjoyable series but don't expect too much. Well if you like one of them then the other definitelly will match your taste.

ConnorD ConnorD says...

Both Love Hina and Ichigo 100% is based on one guy and his girl problems. Both of these animes ahve a lot of nice Ecchi and Harem. if you liked on im sure you will like the other.

Mih Mih says...

Both are about a male student that are trying to find love at the same time they are dealing with the everyday life. Much comedy in both that are very simelar.

Dagon Dagon says...

They both had simuler humor both very funny and have a guy with lots of girls that like him. thay also are both

  • Ecchi,
  • Harem,
  • Romance,
  • theazariah theazariah says...

Really similar in terms of characterisation. Love Hina is way more extreme in every way, but Ichigo 100% follows the same the same humorous larger-than-life vibe. Anyone who enjoys one will enjoy the other.

    wolfangel87 wolfangel87 says...

Did you ever wonder how such a shy and awkward guy could be around so many pretty girls?  That is exactly what the main male characters in Love Hina and Ichigo 100% were thinking.  Set around a school age setting both series are hilariously entertaining with bashful, awkward moments at every turn.

    shinigamidono shinigamidono says...

Both are harems with over-done, annoying, perverted, and extremely wimpy male leads (even more than the usual harem)

    Thrawn Thrawn says...

One guy, many girls. An indecisive heart housed in a body that takes physical abuse like a man. All this also leads to fanservice and accidental peepings on the women each protagonist is surrounded by. Ichigo 100% is a poor man's show compared to Love Hina but fans of Love Hina can find some enjoyment in Ichigo 100%, even if it focuses more on comedy than romance and less on the staples of a Tsundere romance.

Similar plot of one guy many girls wanting him. The boy has the hardest time of choosing one of the beautiful ladies. How unfortunenate for him (rolls eyes*).. ^_^... anyways the fans of shuffle! won't be dissapointed with this ecchi/romance/comedy!

    Ravenstar Ravenstar says...

Although both are harem anime, Ichigo 100% is almost pure comedic fun while Shuffle! has a more dramatic tone to it. However, the main difference comes in the forms of the two male protagonists - Manaka and Rin. Manaka is a complete idiot who is not even always sure when the girls are trying to get his attention. Rin, on the other hand, knows what is coming his way and diplomatically navigates through it all. The contrast between the two is refreshing.

    kawaiinekohanyoo kawaiinekohanyoo says...

Similar to Ichigo 100%, Shuffle! centers around the struggle that a boy has to choose his girlfriend. Shuffle! also takes place in a High School, with all the staples of a High School Harem: incessant panty shots, the classic swimsuit episode, constant misunderstandings/awkward situations, the girls competing for the main character's affection, etc. The visual quality in Shuffle! is also as good as if not better than that of Ichigo 100%. Since Shuffle! is twice as long as Ichigo 100%, you also get more background story on the girls, a more complex storyline, extensive character development, and a decent pace for the relationships. Just trust me, if you liked Ichigo 100%, Shuffle! will give you at least as much viewing pleasure, if not more.

    Hardcoreotaku Hardcoreotaku says...

There both light hearted love storys with epithisis on heart pounding situations(sexual tension). Great anime for anyone whos interested.

    wolfangel87 wolfangel87 says...

While Shuffle has a more mature dramatic approach and Ichigo 100@ is purely comedic based both anime series include loads of laughter and fun for the male protagonists conveniently surrounded by girls vying for his attention.

    corkboard corkboard says...

Both of these are harem comedies where all the girls know the score but there is very little competition between them (which I think makes it a little dull).  Shuffle has a light supernatural aspect and more nudity.

    Thrawn Thrawn says...

RomCom, with a diverse bunch of gals and the protagonist can't pick one. Egad! While Shuffle! is the superior of the two, it also delves into drama later on and becomes a more heavy fare (With a decent protagonist. Gadzooks!), Ichigo 100% focuses more on comedy, panties and semi-seriousness that's only hindered by a lesser harem lead. Check out Shuffle! if you want more drama and pointy-eared chicks in your harem.

Both series has a love triangle and the protagonist is indecisive in picking his true love. Both Themes are similar however School Days has taken love into the next step of revenge and jealousy in a whole other level.

    x5ga x5ga says...

Ichigo 100% is the "happy" version of School Days. The male protagonist finds himself caught between many girls who have feelings for him and doesn't know which one he loves the most. If you want a happy version, Ichigo 100% is the better choice, but if you want a well-developed storyline with realistic situations and a spectacular ending, watch School Days. Better yet, watch them both and you will have seen everything harem-animes have to offer.

    Habhome Habhome says...

The protagonist in both these series is a pretty regular young boy, who is suddenly the centre of attention for several girls whom he have to choose from. The longer the shows goes on the more intricate it becomes. Ichigo 100% has a more lighter feel to it than School Days though.

Akane Maniax and Ichigo 100% are dramatic romantic comedies that have the same intense dramatic feeling between the characters giving off a similar mood to the story.

    kawaiinekohanyoo kawaiinekohanyoo says...

Both Ichigo 100% and Rosario to Vampire are typical "High School Harems." Basically this means that the main character is entering High School, which leads him to meet several girls who develop an interest in him. Both Rosario to Vampire and Ichigo 100% have plenty of panty shots, the classic swimsuit episode, the girls competing for the main character's affection, and all the other staples of a High School Harem. Not only does Rosario to Vampire have all that Ichigo 100% has to offer in the ecchi department, but it also gives you a little bit of action (fight scenes near the end of each episode) and the added spark that only the supernatural can bring (Vampires, Succubus, Witch, Mermaids, etc.). In addition to the ecchi, action, and supernatural, Rosario to Vampire also offers a more complex storyline, with some added drama in it. The animation for Rosario to Vampire is also vibrant and colorful, and the character development is above-average for a High-School Harem. If you liked Ichigo 100%, and also like a fight scene or two, then look no further than Rosario to Vampire for your next Anime!

    corkboard corkboard says...

Both are well executed high school harem comedies with the male leading being a lot more likeable and less perverse than most.  Ichigo is more realistic and dramatic, while Rosario is more supernatural and comedic.  Ichigo is the superior show by far, but if you found one entertaining, the other will probably satisfy as well.

If you enjoy midless ecchi with very little plot and characters that are either mindless bimbos or feckless males, then both of these shows will definitely appeal to you. Personally speaking, I found both of these shows to be amazingly dull and lacking in humour. However, I know some people enjoy them, so why not give the other a whirl?

    KittyEmperor KittyEmperor says...

A good amount of ecchi, a group of girls, and the a male lead who gets all the girls all traits that accurately describes both series.  Both series are your typical harems that don't bring anything new to the table but do okay in what they do have.  If you enjoyed one of these series then you'll probably enjoy the other.
