7 Episodes in, nothing has happened. Go listen to the OP anyway.

Every episode is the same, new power (or use of charisma IRL), small problem, solves problem, becomes hero (again), another girl falls in love again. Story is non-existent.

Animation, well some frames are animated I guess. Most often it is frozen in place with no movement whatsoever, except maybe a mouth when they can't avoid it.

Sound, the OP is awesome. Nothing else stands out.

Characters are dull, even the NPCs are unrealistic. The biggest problem is that the cast is only ever there for an episode. No one gets to interact with anyone else over the course of the series. We just get character intros then we move on forever.

Go watch anything else, what a waste of an interesting idea. Red, skip it unless forced upon you.

Only thing good about it is characters look good.

Rediculus story that often doesn't make sense/too cringy to watch.

I love Isekai animes. This one is absolutely bottom tiered.

Absolute dog shite of a show. I made it 2 episodes before the cringe won. It truly is some power fantasy that some fat nerd in Japan has. I just HAVE to rip on the story and it’s fallacies.

A guy is treated terribly because he is fat and ugly, his entire life. But, his grandpa was nice to him, and left MC his house. The house had a secret room which led to a game world. The house was only accessible by the owner, meaning only he can get in and out of it.  Later, he rescues a girl from being harassed by dudes, via meekly saying she might not like what they're doing to her. They then beat the piss out of him and run away. He stumbles home. He takes a cheap shot at a super powerful monster with overpowered weapons, instantly gets "level 100" and overnight becomes some mega buff, tall, handsome man from leveling up. The girl he saved eventually rescues him from his school where he is constantly bullied, even as a mega handsome, ripped man, and is tossed into a perfect school with women clamoring over him. Blah blah blah, he continues to kill monsters from his backyard, gets OP, saves an other-world girl by the end of ep 2.

Some points I want to point out:

  • I have no proof, but I'm certain that's not how inheritance laws work in Japan. Homeowners have to pay property tax, even in glorious Nippon. And How did the grandpa get access to the place? If it was so easy to level up and become OP, why wasn't grandpa? Further, MC wasn't interested in the swords, the latam masks, or the giant floating red cube. No, he was interested in a door, behind all those items.
  • And, I hate to point out the reality here, but most fat people are getting picked on and bullied because they are WEIRD. It’s wrong to bully people, objectively, but it is still a necessary evil, else society would support the way of life that leads to being a fat nerd - watching shows or playing games all day, eating garbage food, etc. This isn’t something to glorify. It’s okay once in a while, but it’s not to hook your entire life.
  • How do you get fat in Japan? Their junk food is better for you than even moderately healthy American food, since their food isn’t actual poison, like it is here (if you don’t know about the food poisoning of American food, please research it. The government is working with corporations to make even healthy food as unhealthy as possible.)
  • This would have been much better if the show was about him bettering himself, for the sake of his grandpa, who clearly loved him. A show about a dude growing a pair and hitting the gym, or even working out from home, while working on absolving himself from the way of life that made him be rejected by society would have been a far superior plot than this drivel.
  • In reality, nothing would change for this dude. It takes actual effort to become handsome and ripped. People who get gastric bypass surgery tend to just gain it all back. People who work extremely hard to lose weight with no intentions of maintaining their new hardcore, strict lifestyle end up gaining more weight than when they started. My 600lb life is a great example of this. What I’m saying is this guy will become too lazy to even cheap-shot monsters. He got good looking and ripped for nothing, he had no sacrifice.
  • The animation is CLUNKY. The studio uses 3D models whenever there’s any chance of a character moving to the side. Any other movements are done with as few frames as possible. It feels like they are moving 10 FPS sometimes, when other things on screen move normally. Just an interesting animation design that I HATE. That was UGLY. For light on a face, the faces are then imprinted on 3D models, they put the light source where it needs, the face is cut, then replastered onto the 2D model. At least, that is true from what I can tell. It’s so clunky and unpolished that it’s distracting from the non-plot.
  • The artist(s) can draw 3 faces total, and they use different skin tones and hair to differentiate. And they all land in uncanny-valley. The eyes are almost too-human, too-real, while the rest of the face is very anime. They look more like creepy dolls that have been polished.
  • Back to the animation, the way characters commit actions is another item of concern. Example, the introduction of the science teacher was bothersome. The camera introduces her from above her ankles and pans upward. Her hand is already in the “wave” position. It didn’t show the hand going there. When he sat next to the girl at the new school, she had to move her desk right next to his to show him her textbook. Instead of showing the desk move, it cuts the frame, makes the sound of desk moving over wood floor, and the action was already done. It’s a cheap way to show movement in animated shows, but this is the exclusive way this show does things like this.
  • Tl’dr; this show is absolute ass from some fat Japanese retard who can’t take responsibility for his own actions. There is no isekai at the end of the rainbow. Go to gym, learn a language, learn a skill, make money, else you will be the guy who made this garbage.

Terrible. That's all I can say about it. The story is terrible, while the characters are all cool and nice. Not realistic in the slightest, half of the characters seem like NPCs or dead, with the visuals literally being the only good thing about this anime.

Whoever permitted this to be on the internet should go to jail. This anime is a crime. They don't even maintain the bare minimum with the animation. The final episode was especially a disaster, but there were slideshows earlier in the anime also.

This was the 2nd worst anime I've watched these past few years. I feel sorry for the animators having to animate such trash isekai, while also not being allowed to animate it properly at the very least.

I have now watched 10 episodes that have aired and I really like this anime, but it is definetly not for everyone.

The truest superpower of the MC is that he could probably beat Tanjiro (Demon Slayer) and Izuku (MHA) in kindness. This has become my feel good anime and I really like the MC for some reason I cannot explain.

Most of the story atleast so far has been more of funny encounters and the charm of the show is more how the MC does not realize how increadible he is due to being so mercilessly bullied before and that now all his new friends might first be attracted to his looks but are more amazed how humble and kind he is.

This is more of a character study than action packed shounen isekai. So if action is what you are after and confident MC this is not for you. The animation is pretty to look, especially the eyes of the characters have gotten a lot of detail.

This is very different isekai and I think everyone should give it the 3 episode test, but if it feels like it is not your thing at that point just drop it.
