The development of the Infinite Stratos powered exoskeleton changed the world’s balance of power. While the distribution of IS systems has created peace, only women have been able to pilot them. So when Ichika Orimura is discovered to be the first male with the ability to control an IS, whatever plans he had for his future are tossed out the window even as he’s thrown to the wolves and enrolled at the otherwise entirely female Infinite Stratos Academy by order of the Japanese government!

Both harem with the Mc in an all girl school, the fighting style for both is also mecha and the designs are kins of similar
Matter fact they are both kind of the same type of Mecha and being related to Harem and Echhi yes you would probably like both. Even though I personnaly prefer Infinite Stratos to Masou Gakuen HxH.
They are very similar in both plot and concept. Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia is better suited to a mature audience.
These two are very similar in how they both work with the MC being a special male warrior in a category of only women and that his relationship with the women around him affect his battle performance. They are both harem style anime, and while HxH is more ecchi, they both have the MC bouncing from one girl to another and building his relationship with the each of them.
This one has a very similar setup but is just better done. Much further away from hentai compared to Hybrid x Heart
"Hundred" - the only weapon capable of fighting the Savages, mysterious life forms attacking Earth. Hayato enters the battleship university Little Garden in hopes of becoming a Slayer... but his roommate Emile Crossfode, who seems to know a lot about him for some reason, awakens a sort of unsettling nostalgia within him. What's more, right after he joins the school, the strongest Slayer at Little Garden, the "Queen" Claire Harvey, challenges him to a duel!
A school on an island, with the Mc being the central of attraction for both harem animes with mecha suits that reveals a lot
Hundred and HXH are really similar animes, HXH is a LOT more Ecchi/Harem based then Hundred is though, so if you're not really into Ecchi that much then just watch Hundred, if you like it/don't mind it try out HXH I'm really enjoying it so far :)
Earth is under attack by other-dimensional threats known as Nova, and only the Pandora – girls with special implants that grant them enhanced physical abilities – can battle against them to protect the planet. Bridgette L Sattelizer, known to her peers as 'Untouchable', is at the top of her class and lets no one near her – that is, until new student Kazuya Aoi falls into her breasts one day...

Both anime feature a group of girls with special implants that grant them special powers and the means to save humanity from an otherwordly threat. In both of them a guy assist them to fight their enemies, though in freezing they fight in pairs while in Masou Gakuen HxH there's only one guy assisting the whole group.
Both shows are quite ecchi as well, but Masou Gakuen HxH definitely takes the cake.
All in all, fans of one will definitely like the other.
Freezing contains an improved version of using boys to power up the female fighters, even allowing mulitple boys for one girl. IMHO, this contains more drama than HxH, but I feel that's one of it's strengths.
The Armed Virus plagues a small percent of the female population, turning girls into living weapons that are activated with a special...touch. Afraid of the power they hold, these girls are sent to islands where they either survive or die trying. Mamori Tokonome is sent to Mermaid Island and thrust into a world where she is paired up with the mysterious and buxom beauty, Mirei Shikishima. Pressed against a corner, a passionate kiss releases Mamori's power and she becomes a mighty sword that, in Mirei's strong grip, is a fearsome weapon. Together they'll face the Wärter, a group that believes in ruling with a firm hand, who seek the most powerful weapons. Wanting nothing to do with this organization, Mamori and Mirei must find their own way home before the Wärter can claim them for good. The harder they fight, the closer they grow-can Mamori handle when the battle and feelings heat up.

Both are ecchi action shows which focus on a group of people with superpowers on an island, and the only way to use said powers (or restore their powers in Masou Gakuen HxH's case) is to do lewd things with their partner.
The main difference between them is the fact that only females fight in Valkyrie drive which leads to an insane amount of yuri while in Masou Gakuen HxH there's a guy who er... "assists" a group of 5 girls in their fights, but if you liked one of them you'll definitely enjoy the other.
Both are themed that turning on the user will increase/create powers to fight. The differences is that hybrid heart is trying to make there's into a school type straight romance with mech sytle fighting where as valkyrie is more a lesbian battle royal themed survival fighting.

Both involve super powered harem where the cast engage in erotic acts for more power. The parents in bith are absent and have motives that are hidden from the male lead. The female leads both have grear, yet untapped powers.
"The testament of sister new devil" and "Hybrid x Heart magias" both have main corrector with special power and he gets into Ecchi situation with the girls. The power play is also Awesome.
There is a high school boy named Madanbashi Kouichi who has Hi-ERo particles, the power source to operate the robotic weapon Daimidaler. With the help of Sonan Kyouko from the mysterious Prince Beauty Parlor organization, he stands up against the Penguin Empire that troubles humanity.

similar idea, do something perverted to power up the gear, in this show's case it's groping a girl's boobs

If you liked one of these shows and you're into overly-explicit anime with a ton of "plot" (if you know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) but little actual plot then you should definitely watch the other. You won't be dissapointed.
Takuma Akutsu has a “unique” appearance that, unfortunately, leaves him feeling isolated and alone among his high school classmates who shun him. Enter the Valkyries sent by Odin himself! Once they descend into Takuma’s life, he discovers they aren’t scared of him one bit! In fact, they’re super keen to get to know him better. As the intimacy between the Valkyries and Takuma grows, so too do their powers. And that’s a good thing, because they’re on orders to slay the vicious monsters intent on destroying the earth. How far will they go to deepen their connection, level up, and save the world… by any means necessary!?!

Both shows feature a guy who has to help a group of girls save the world from an evil foe by "powering them up" (if you know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)). The setting of each show may be different but both are equally raunchy and appeal to the same audience.
