The story revolves around a doll called "Hybrid Child" which grows reflecting the owner's affection. Kotarou Izumi, who is the 16th head of the noble Izumi family, found a hybrid child at the garbage disposal spot when he was eight years old. He has lived with the doll named Hazuki for 10 years since then. However, Kotarou learns Hazuki's life is close to the end.
Dude, my throat was choking with sadness when I was watching it! I mean, I have seen other animes that make me choky inside. I can't wait for the next episodes!
This anime practically had me in tears, which is really hard to do. It was so sad it's really made me cry. is beautifully animated and I really suggest that you watch it. The characters are amazing and the story is absolutely gorgeous. the idea of having a full part story with all the connections adding up in the last episode really makes this anime stand out. now if you're not into Boyx boy anime then I suggest you probably shouldn't watch thos becaus it is very much boys love boy scenario but if you are into that, then this is the perfect Choice The anime is a real tearjerker, playing on your immediate heartstrings, making you get super invested into the characters and the lives of the lead. The soundtrack is great and the animation is beautiful the colours really make you feel like you're in that world. if there's any criticism about it is it at 1 of the hybrid children are a young child, but he does stay that way for long so it's only a little Bit creepy, but dont worry it dosent last for long overall I highly recommend this Anime so please watch it but if you're really not into boys love boy anime the please don't check it out and just hate it and leave a bad comment about it it does SO PLEASE I am warning you again so if you're not into that kind of stuff don't check it out and if you are then I would highly recommend it I hope you enjoy
The Hybrid Child is an amazing android that can grow if it is lavished with enough love and care from its owner. Neither fully machine nor fully human, the various Hybrid Child models develop strong emotional bonds with their owners. This series contains several short stories of love, sacrifice, and drama: Young Kotaro learns the importance of responsibility when his Hybrid Child's lifespan runs out. The tragic swordsman Seya learns to love again with the help of his Hybrid child, Yuzu. The final tale tells the story of Kuroda, the creator of the Hybrid Child designs, and how his lost love inspired their creation. As a fan of shounen-ai I eagerly went into this anime with certain expectations ... and got something completely different. The plot is separated into three different arcs that will each touch your heart. All of the stories are rather sad and bittersweet, but incredibly moving! I loved each and every story, though the first arc was my favorite, closely followed by the third. I did like the second arc but it paled when compared to the other two. For only four episodes, where the first and second arcs are only one episode each and the third is only two episodes, you wouldn't expect there to be much character development, if any at all, but Hybrid Child is an excellent example of when things are done right. Superb character development in a twenty minute episode is an extraordinarily hard thing to accomplish, but HC did a fabulous job at doing just that! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by just how incredibly sweet and touching this short little anime was! Definitely worth watching!
