Written on a secret scroll possessed by the clan, there are said to be various techniques on how to grow big and beautiful breasts. Chifusa is the heir of the clan. However, she takes the secret scroll and runs away with it, hoping to fight against the cruel world that the Manyū Clan has created…

Feudal era Japan, swordfighting action, fantasy elements, and a cast populated by wardrobe malfunction-prone busty beauties. If you don't watch anime for a good story and are seeking more mindless titillation of the sort Hyakka Ryouran provides, be sure to check out Manyuu Hiken-chou!

Mammaries. Both series are driven by the funbags of females, the breasts of babes, the gorgeous girls that drive what crappy plot there is and feature as little males as possible. There's the obligatory prominent to semi-prominent male in each show but they are outnumbered and outstacked by the bustier gender.

Neither are high in plot or depth but feature a large bust of fanservice, catering to both fans of flats and supporters of super-sized... boobs. And both take place in the era of samurai and titty ninjas, where the mostly busty protagonists fight their mostly busty adversaries, all in the name of fanservice!

Etue Etue says...

Both series share seemingly the same setting at first but while hyakka ryouran has modern technology in it manyuu stays more medieval. Both series are very perverted and feature large amounts of female breast exposure and while manyuu manages to tip the scale on breast proportions both series still feature breasts in about the same amount. However manyuu certainly uses it far more in dialogue.

How do you like 'em? Large and in charge or udderly distasteful? If the former, either one of them. The latter? Seikon no Soma, but for either one, knowledge of the first season isn't essential to fully enjoy the sheer density of fanservice and lack of plot in favor of filler. If there is plot, it's either crap or thrown to the side for more fanservice, because who doesn't like boobs?

Etue Etue says...

Both are very sexuel anime who's setting sort of feels the same. While Seikon no qwaser II is certainly more questionable in coherency and morality both sort dropped their plot and forgot about it while large amounts of fan-service ensued. If you want and even more perverted anime than samurai bride don't look far, Seikon no qwaser is certainly more deviant.

Is this a Zombie?

Is this a Zombie?

Ayumu was murdered by a serial killer – at least, he was. For after the mysterious Eucliwood Hellscythe revives him, he changes from a human to a zombie, much to his dismay. Now, in addition to being unable to die, the boy must see to the whims of his supernatural, silent companion – but things continue to get worse from there. As once Ayumu accidentally steals a magical girl named Haruna's powers, he is tasked with the embarrassing, obnoxious task of being a magical girl – err, boy – in her stead! Then with the addition of a hostile vampire ninja to his household, can Ayumu manage to maintain his new home life, fight against attacking monsters, and track down the person who killed him all while attempting to keep what little dignity he has left in tact?

Kore wa zombies desu ka? Parodies the genre that this anime is part of "Supernatural Harem" . While most of the girls in samurai girls don't have supernatural origins their powers are certainly supernatural.

Thrawn Thrawn says...

By trading nudity for non-nudity, you get more comedy, more plot, maybe a bit less fanservice and some great twists on the genre by means of parody. Since you only watch(ed) Samurai Bride for the boobs, it's a nice trade and an improvement, don't you think?

Battle Girls: Time Paradox

Battle Girls: Time Paradox

Hideyoshi is a typical middle school girl, concerned with fashion, trends, and boys. So when she is transported back to the warring period of Japan, culture shock doesn't even begin to describe her reaction! In this world, the inhabitants are only women, and this gender bending take on Japanese history sees Oda Nobunaga seeking the Crimson Armor in order to rule the world! But she'll need Hideyoshi's help to do it in Battle Girls: Time Paradox!

Battle Girls and Samurai Bride are two titles that involve hugely busty girls in samurai/feudal times and are a mix of pure ecchi and comedy. Fans of one will appreciate the other.

Kamen no Maid Guy

Kamen no Maid Guy

Naeko and Kousuke Fujiwara have just been given a gift from their grandfather: the mess of a mansion they live in will now be cared for by two capable maids – Fubiki, a beauty that appeals to Kousuke’s fetish; and Kogarashi, a huge, strong man who will perform his maid duties to his fullest! What the two don’t know is that they are the last in line for their family’s inheritance, and these two “maids” have been hired to protect them. For Kousuke, this new life is a dream come true; but for Naeko, her mammoth, gravity-defying breasts will never be safe from Kogarashi or any other male’s antics again!

You know what brings the world together? Boob jokes and maids. Kamen no Maid Guy's muscular maid among maid babes and Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride's sole appeal of female maids, combined with comedy, fanservice, jiggling, ninjas (And samurai in Hyakka Ryouran's case) and more fanservice, all add up to some stupid fun. Sure there might be drama bombs here and there, but it'll go back to status quo of action and more fanservice before long.

Sekirei

Sekirei

Minato Sahashi was living a normal life; he had just failed his college entrance exam for a second year in a row, and lived a quiet life in a single's apartment. That is, until the busty Musubi fell from the sky on top of him! She is a Sekirei, one of 108 that are destined to fight each other until only one remains; and he or she will ascend to heaven with his or her chosen one known as an Ashikabi. Minato soon finds himself in the embrace of Musubi, becoming her Ashibaki - but his life will only become more complicated. Musubi isn't the last to claim Minato as her Ashibaki, and what's worse, plenty of other Sekirei and opponents stand in his way!

Etue Etue says...

On the surface the anime are very similar in one guy with limited battle capability being surrounded by more battle fit maidens. IN terms of power balance both series equally heavily prefer one character out of their group over the others but both series have similar tropes littered among the group of girls. Both series are not at all shy about showing female bosoms and while sekirei is more open about it's sexual nature in the dialogue both are about as perverted in imagery. Sekirei is basically Samurai bride without the ''samurai'' / ''artsy medieval''  feel to it.

Looking for another show with fighting females, little plot, and lots of fan service? Look no further than the equally bad Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!, a show whose main goal is to push aside the plot to fit as many women parts into the show as possible.

Aww yeah, shake 'em, shake dat! All the jiggle, fanservice, crappy plot (If there is any) and boobs you can shake a chest at. Promoting Chesty LaRue as the mains and some obligatory other smaller sizes with some token guys, both are all about the mammaries and fanservice without having a shred of sensibility or plot that deeper shows have. Beautiful on the outside with excellent features (Fanservice), nothing on the inside so come for the fanservice, stay for the boobs. Made for pervs.
