for only being a few episodes that are only a few minutes long, this anime captures two opposite beings come together. one who wants to live and one who wants to die. this show has no dialogue but you can still understand how hard these characters are trying to be strong for each other. beyond the story it's amazing that only one person has made this and you can see their improvement and passion shine in each new episode. i would recommend this to all who can handle the dark themes, and for how short it is everyone has the time to watch this. so if you are reading this stop and take 30 minutes to enjoy it.
I did really enjoy watching this anime. It is short and has captivating plot and characters. I did think however, that it was so sad. Throughout the series it is upsetting and it doesn't exactly have a happy ending. It takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and I personally cried several times during this. The characters are amazing and I would recommend if this is your kind of thing.
For an animation made by one person, this is incredible! Hikari: Be My Light shows that dialogue isn't needed to tell an impactful story. The sound and the music fit with the animation and the plot. The two unnamed characters should be protected at all costs. If you have half an hour to spare, give Hikari: Be My Light a chance.
