"I can't go home, I'm out of money and my family doesn't want anything to do with me. I've slept with many men just so I could have a roof over my head".

Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway is a show that's trying to be dramatic and wants you to take it seriously, but everything about it has the complete opposite effect. Its moral compass is off, even though it tries to make you think it's doing the right thing. The show tries to make you care about Sayu, the main girl in the story, by making her go through sexual abuse and making her deal with the suicide of a friend, but these situations are handled in such a disgusting way that it leaves you confused and annoyed with how poorly it's written.

When you see a girl curled up underneath a lamppost who tells you that she's been sleeping around with many men, the first thing you'd do is drag her ass to a doctor. How does this show handle a situation like that? The main character, Yoshida, just asks Sayu to come over to his place... for a while...

The normal step that follows is to contact a female friend (or in this case a female co-worker) because it'd be much easier for a girl to talk to another female... Unless you're Yoshida, you just go to work as if nothing ever happened.

In a normal situation, you'd try to figure out what happened to the young girl that is now living under your roof. How did you end up here? Yoshida doesn't ask questions, he just lets Sayu stay at his place without ever really questioning her.

But the silliest part of the show is how it handled the situation where Sayu almost gets raped by her co-worker, a dude she slept with in the past. If your co-worker tried to rape you, you wouldn't just go back to work the next day and work a shift with that same guy. You also wouldn't have a 'civil' discussion with that same dude a minute after you catch him trying to rape a young girl.

If only she had family that cared about her... Oh wait...

This show has issues, a lot of issues. It's a show that really tries to take itself seriously but then plenty of people will also praise it for its realistic approach, both of these statements are clearly not the case.

You're your own worst enemy.

After confessing his love to his his coworker Aira Gotou which promptly gets rejected, Office worker Yoshida goes out drinking to cure his depression of a one-sided love. On his way home he comes across a young woman sitting underneath a street lamp wearing a school uniform. When asked what she is doing the young woman who introduces herself as Sayu Ogiwara tries to seduce Yoshida in order to stay the night. Yoshida then immediately rejects her advances but nonetheless still invites her back to his apartment. The next morning during a miso soup breakfast which was requested by Yoshida during a drunken rant Sayu admits that for the last six months she travelled across Japan staying at men's apartments in return for sexual advances.

That's the show. JUST KIDDING.

Don't let that terrible plot synopsis on my part deter you from this slice of life romance show where Sayu actually helps Yoshida become a better person inside and out. And at the same time Yoshida makes Sayu come out of her shell to act more her age and not do anything that would be considered "degenerate behavior."

Yoshida cares for Sayu's wellbeing throughout the show by buying a futon so she won't sleep on the floor and even a smartphone so the two of them could be in constant contact with each other.

Throughout these "gifts" Sayu still believes that Yoshida harbors feelings for her and even still in the middle of the season she asks Yoshida if "he finds her hot." In response Yoshida says "Of course I do." But then he promptly pushes her aside and says that she doesn't need to act like that anymore now that she is staying with him.

The relationship between Sayu and Yoshida isn't the only one that is an important part of the show. Somehow Gotou actually hid her feelings for Yoshida which then came out after she sees his attitude and appearance change. Another love story is the one between Mishima a "lazy" worker in Yoshida's office who also has feelings for him.

I wouldn't want an ending where Sayu becomes best girl, but she is certainly acting like it. The show isn't as cringy as one might thing it's more like a comeback story, rising from the pits of hell and becoming a better person because of it.

That being said the show moves slow and not much attention grabbing, its mostly just dialogue with a realistic and dramatic tone, its not my forte but it could be for some people.

a While back I gave this a review but looks like they took it down oh no worries that wasn't the full review anyway.....Ohk lets start this review with the plot Lets see after he was rejected by the women he loved because of her H cups he got drunk and met a highschool girl, the girl asked him a place to stay in return of giving him sexual pleasure from her G cups but he refused because he was a chad and told her that he will only fuck the one he truly love but he gave her a place to stay in return of her doing the chores. Then the first 3 days even after being rejected the SLUT oh my sorry I mean sayu offers him sex but he refuses againg showing his chadness then she understands and lives a decent life for the upcoming days in the other hand yoshida's khouhai who is in love with him gradually comes to know that sayu and yoshida is living together and also the H cupped women who rejected him also shows sign of falling in love with him then one day a pesky insect that the slut offered her body in the past and became mind break finds her and molest her but this time she refuses and yoshida saves the day.....And just like that the story progresses sayu's family came to brink her back buit she doesn't wanna go, her sad backstory how she became depressed after her frnd commited suicide and decided to become a slut and her strict mother and so on......

now lets talk about my thoughts U already know that I hate this show but U maybe don't know why. what I am gonna write is like based on facts and my opinion strictly so no hate to the fans.... So like this is bullshit ,first the plot I mean comeon Who the fuck will leave a girl in middle of the road asking to be a sex slave alone if it would have been me I would have taken her to a hospital first and then the police station cuz I am not interested in fucked up sluts....And also like tf are there only male workers in the whole world or what? I mean aren't there any women workers who would lent a hand to her that she goes around giving sex to male in exchange for a place top stay? that got me really pissed just how much of a slut are you but they didn't stopped at that they included her having sex with that pesky insect I talked out where she literally had a mind break I mean is it a hentai or a doujin? If not for that it would have been watchable atleast but that scene fucked literally everyone up be it good or be it bad.... Now lets talk bout why she became a slut ? It was purely because her frnd and only moral support died and the pressure from her family was too much for her to bare so she decided to became a prostitute, I mean bruh really many people don't even have frnd and they are literally being abused at home but they still don't think about being a slut or a fuck boy....Literally If u ask me I can give u a 100+ reason to hate this show...This show for me I would say was watchable because of yoshida and his kouhai and the H cupped milf.

Now lets talk about Wheater you should watch it or not then if u hate ntr or prostitution or like mind break like me then don't this will literally fuck u up even netsuzou trap would seem better then this shit.

PS : I don't give a shit to what people say to me because its my personal opinion and it will never change in terms of this show

3S review no. 41 (short, simple and salty/sweet/spicy)

So, as part of me being retarded this is one of the shows I watched this season in order to try out shows that I wouldn’t watch usually based on genre alone. So do I regret it? Yes, every minute of it. But when I say I’m doing something, being the retarded me I am I end up doing it.

Story, this guy on his way home finds a teenage girl under a street lamp and takes her home (!). The girl is a runaway from home (we don’t know why yet) and she has been fucking strangers so she can get to stay at their houses for a bit. Now you’d expect a really serious, mature and dark vibe from a premise like that huh? Well slap me in the ass and call me Suzy that is definitely NOT what you get. I mean at a certain point in the show, the girl explains her situation to a grown up (for whatever reason virgin) woman, and I shit you not, the woman reacts by laughing hysterically.

And that’s about it, you get to see them living together enjoying their part platonic part parental part romantic relationship. Ofc this can’t go on forever so the girl is haunted by her past that at some point she has to face. This is… well it’s a story, it’s not groundbreaking, it’s not spectacular, it’s been told before, age gap, social gap, troubled past yada yada yada. But you see, it’s not about the story, since story that has been told before a thousand times it can be told again in a great way. Needless to say not the case here. There is nothing in this show that it is “shown”, everything is “told”. They all talk and talk and talk and talk and never shut up. On top of that everything is been told so slowly, so mindbogglingly slow. You can watch the show in x2 speed and you will probably not miss a thing. It feels like they are just trying to prolong the episodes and the series in general, it could have easily been a 2 hour movie without missing a single detail. Even though missing stuff would work in your favor here, cause it’s not just that they talk all the time, the are spouting these endless speeches that half of them don’t even make sense and the other half you really wished that they didn’t make sense cause the sense they made was infuriatingly stupid. I mean for fuck’s sake in episode 12 (what follows is kind of a little spoiler along with some runt, skip to next paragraph if you wanna avoid it) the dude goes berserk, he goes fuckin shounen mode on us spouting a speech about how you don’t choose your family and your family doesn’t choose you and a person can’t and mustn’t be responsible for himself until he is a fully grown up person!!!! (whatever the fuck that means, maturity is just a standard number I guess with no x factors between different people). So you know what, you, yes, I am talking to you, you that your parent was a horrible person, an abusive son of a bitch that fucked up your childhood, your innocence and most likely your future, and you little shit, you imbecile, you went and left away from him in your teens before he completely destroyed your life in every possible way with his toxicity, you fucked it up! You know what, you didn’t watch this show first, that was your mistake, cause I’m pretty sure that you could have taken it for a little longer, not much you know, just until you are a “fully grown up” person. How the fuck do some people having the audacity to write this fuckin crap when they know that what they wrote is gonna reach someone, that someone might be affected by that shit, how the fuck can they live with themselves? It’s beyond me…

Anyway, characters, they pretty much are all braindead, the only person in the show that made sense when he opened his mouth is the protagonist’s co-worker guy, but his role is mostly insignificant. His other two co workers are making me wanna pull my arm off just so I got something to throw at the fucking monitor. The main duo ironically enough is not that terrible in the end result, but it is pretty terrible considering what they could have been. They could have been so much more, their relationship could have been very dramatic, very impactful, they could and should have been struggling in so many ways, I mean the premise of the show is not something that happens everyday, it is not a regular event, these two are not regular people, why the fuck do we get regular everyday life and why we get boring characters? But hey, we have a lot of character development, plenty of it, check out this development, the MC, while he didn’t change at all, he is the nice guy he always was, now he gets a harem all of a sudden for being the same guy he always was. The girl runs away, goes back, then goes away, whatever, all this supposed struggling and nothing really changed, never mind the “we’ll always have Paris” kind of ending that makes me wanna rip off my eyeballs and deepfry them in last year’s mcdonalds oil.

Lets get over with this, animation is what you expect from the genre, lazy and cheap.

Sound is mediocre at best, ending, opening and voice acting, nothing stands out. A single little piano track that reoccurs is passable I guess.

So, is it worth a watch? No, of course not, but probably (and what saddens me is) that people that enjoy the genre will most likely gulp down this one as well. But for me that this is not my cup of tea (even though I came to it with no prejudgments at all) not only did I not find anything that can change my opinion about the genre, on the contrary the show did everything it could to solidify it.

Yeah I typical don't do reviews on super heavy dramas but damn this show really wasn't worth the time 🥴. First for the most part the show has good quality but that doesn't stop it from having the dumbest ending I've seen in a sol drama. I won't spoil it so you can read this short review.
for most of the show it's a pseudo wholesome show with some really dumb decisions by the female protagonist but for the most part for a normal non drama watcher like me it was bearable. But ooooooweeeee that last 3 epsiode especially the last 2 were so dumb the only think I can be glad if is that the male protagonist never became a piece of shit otherwise it would be even worse although he is kind of a baby crying at the end. I get it girls like it when guys cry and yeah we do but Yeesh not like this. Seriously those last epsidoes really negate the rest of the show. It's not worth the watch.

okay now this is spoiler zone and yeah I'm going to roast this show. It has a couple of bad parts but first I'll start with the girl. And yes this is the authors fault why did they put show much time into a underaged girls sex scene it was weid also she tries to have sex with the main character at the end multiple times like for real did the writers not think that she couldn't learn her lesson. This is a perfect example of "how to not make people feel bad for a character" make a girl who even though is 16 knows that it is wrong to go and have sex with strangers It doesn't matter her scenario and if this is a real scenario (which I'm sure it is) then hell yeah a grown ass man taking advantage of a girls stupidity should have his dick chopped off. My point is that she's not a likeable character multiple times at the end of the show where we are supposed to see growth and maturity from our characters but instead she tries twice to have sex with him and then proceeds to for at least 3 years not let him go and grow up. This leads me to the next point the guy, (really I can't be bothered to know the names of characters for a show I don't like) 6 months this dude took care of this mess of human being you'd think after that long spending time with a girl he'd understand them a little bit better but no we still get the cliche "ladies man" knows nothing about how girls interact with them it's dumb he's a grown ass man (we don't have to see aggressively horny  or emotionally oblivious guys and that's for all shows I can't be the only guy tired of that trope right?) well the show proceeds to skip the next 3 years for whatever reason and show the guy in the exact same spot except he's got a girlfriend but won't admit it and tells his friend to shut up. If I'm about to leave my friends to see my girlfriend I'm not going to say shut up then leave I'd say something stupid like "yeah she's cute as fuck" then leave (although most of my friends are already married so that would never happen 😂). Back to the story so this the female protagonist just shows up and instead of saying "yo I've been with this girl for a while and your 6 months doesn't equate to her x amount of time" my guy starts to tear up and talk to her it just seems like the start of another dumb love triangle romances which are all bad. Im guessing most people didn't like it and for anyone who wanted them to have sex all I got to say is your gross and listen to Micheal Jordan "stop it get some help" although Anyone who watced this show should get some help to wipe the trash from their mind
