story: Starts off as a comedy while introducing characters and settings, then turns into action drama. Surprisingly interesting and enjoyable story, though with some holes and progressing too fast at certain points. Id really like to see this anime with 24 min. episodes. characters: Characters with actual backgrounds, personalities and progression, not just archetypes. With very limited time, they did pretty good job. Animation: Below average quality (effects are really terrible), but with alot of motion. No ankward 3d. Sound: Average, but occasionaly dragged down by voice acting. Overall: Prime example of great material wasted. With 24 min episodes and bigger budget, it could easily become awesome anime. Still enjoyable though.
