There aren't enough words that I could use to describe how brilliant this anime is. Hands down this was the most enticing, raw, based anime I have watched. The battles are exciting and intense and juggle high stakes which leads to brutal outcomes. The music and sound is some of the best in anime history. The characters are loveable, whether its black cat himself or the one eared mouse, these characters are memorable and stay fresh in your mind years after watching the anime. The animation is revolutionary and beyond its time by decades, at one point i couldnt tell if the fight scenes where stop motion pictures, also i felt like I was wacthing a 60fps show throughout the whole experience. The plot is amazing and isnt dragged out like 90% of other anime. The twist towards the end made me cry, I straight up cried whereas I have never cried over any other anime. I wont spoil it, but this is a must-watch, there isnt much else to say.  The ending was satisfying yet I still wish there was more. Theres romance, gore and sad moments all packed into one here and I hope others get to watch this timeless masterpiece at some stage in their lives. I know for certain my kids will be watching this throughout their entire childhood.
