Those two animes don't focus on story of one character, but on few. Action goes on in school, there is love triangle. Similar set of characters, similar art, similar feeling, same studio.

These animes are really similar, so if you enjoyed kimikiss/hatsukoi, you'll also enjoy other one of them.

naceale naceale says...

Both of them are about first love, with several interlaced love stories.

The expression 'uncontrollable feelings' is very important in both of them, it is like the summary of the complete series.

Main characters are high-school girls in both animes.

Differences:- Hatsukoi is much more echhi, KimiKiss is mainly romantic- Hatsukoi is more comedy

shinigamidono shinigamidono says...

Both series are easy-going slice-of-life stories that take place in school. Lots of love triangles, pentagons and such and the art style is pretty well identical.

Am3n Am3n says...

love story not only of one charecter but few. They are wery similar. It is worth it to watch.

Muchiachio Muchiachio says...

High school romance featuring multiple love stories.

Both have girls as its protagonists.

Throw Kenji Harima, the school delinquent with a crush on Tenma into the mix and you've got one twisted love triangle of unrequited proportions! Can love find the trio happiness before their attention-grabbing stunts end up hurting more than their egos?

Both of these series focus primarily on love, and in particular love triangles. While School Rumble takes a more obvious and random humorous look at the subject of love, both series use a lot of comedy in the storytelling. If you liked one, it's worth watching the other.

shinigamidono shinigamidono says...

Both series are lighthearted slice-of-life comedies that don't really take themselves too seriously. There are a lot of similar characters in the series. You can pretty much find a counterpart for every character in the other series (Tenma = Ayumi, Eri = Kei, Harima = Misao ..... you get the idea). Also both series tend to spend a few episodes on each of the characters and then move on to the next. Because of that, it is very difficult to classify anyone as "the main character". Rather, there really isn't such a thing as a main character in either series.

Bronia Bronia says...

Both shows have a delinquent who's not your typical delinquent- they're a lovey-dovey guy who just wants to convince the girl he loves to love him back!

Both are jam-packed with love triangles, unrequitted love, and minunderstandings about all things love. They're full of cute girls and funny guys and a bunch of slapstick humor that may or may not make you fall out of your chair laughing. Both have huge casts of fun and exciting characters who will have you rooting for them (or cursing them, depending on the role) until the very end.

Hatsukoi Limited has more fanservice than School Rumble, so you've been warned.

Both animes have similar story primarily focused on comedy and romance

Toradora!

Toradora!

Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?

Both of these series are similar in that there's a (semi-)complex love interest between middle/high-school students. There's a tough guy protagonist in both series, Ryuji in Toradora, and Misao "Beast-kun" in Hatsukoi, and both of these characters are actually soft, kinded hearted people who are incredibly skilled at household chores but are misunderstood because of their fearful appearances. They both pursue a seemingly hopeless love interest and the predecaments they get into, means comedy is ensured. The Romantic element is also present and develops throughout the story.

These two series are alike in a way of humor, charakters and similiar problems. They are both a graet comedys about groving up, love, frendships and family.

Hatsukoi Limited and Bokura ga Ita are about first loves and generally have a light feeling to them, although both shows get a bit heavier around the end. If you enjoyed the high-school romance factor and the way both shows go slightly into the psyche of the characters, you'll enjoy the other as well!

Boys Be...

Boys Be...

There is nothing more sad and pleasant than love in its various forms, and a group of high school students will discover them in this melancholy series. The focus is on Kanzaki Kyoichi, an artist and a dreamer at heart, and Nitta Chiharu, a track star and a childhood friend of Kyoichi's. From spring to summer to fall to winter, love will grow and fade, and grow again

Both shows are collection of short love stories focusing on a group of high school friends, and how they mature through their love life. While Hatsukoi Limited pays more attention to the girls, and Boys Be is mainly about guys, both are very good Shounen romances.

Bith animes are simular in a very weird way. Both of them have outragous charectors who act by their whim. complicated realationships. although I find Damekko Doubutsu childish and Hatsukoi Limited to be a more mature show~!

Both series focuses on different characters, but with Amagami SS it focuses on one character for about 6 episodes before moving onto the next which i personally think is better as i always prefer one characters story and want more of it but with Hatsukoi Limited it focuses on one but still continues to show their story in others but without as much detail :')
