Hakuouki: A Memory of Snow Flowers

Taking place between episodes 8 and 9 of the first season of Hakuoki, Chizuru goes on an undercover mission in Shimabara for the Shinsegumi. Dressing as a geisha, each episode tells the story of the undercover mission through the point of view of each captain. But it isn't just the rival clans the Shinsengumi need to worry about. It's the demons that keep popping up with the intent to kill anyone in their path that makes this Hakuoki installment worth watching!

Each episode is "His side of the story," told from one of six different perspectives; Okita Souji, Harada, Saito, Heisuke, Hijikata, and Kazama. Revolving around the night Chizuru goes undercover as a geisha, each episode explores the six characters' personalities in greater depth. Who knew the Demon Vice-Commander is into poetry? I laughed more than I thought I would. These OVAs take place between episodes 8 and 9 of Season One, Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom PG-16+ Nothing too bad. Drinking, smoking, drunk men, some brawling, ect.
