Angels are genteel and graceful messengers from Heaven, right? Wrong! Sakura Kusakabe will create an invention that inadvertently ruins the future for womankind and thus, angels from the future have arrived to do the only reasonable thing: assassinate him! Fortunately for Sakura, one of them, Dokuro-chan, takes a liking to him but her intentions to protect him prove downright lethal. When Sakura’s not dodging her spiked bat Excalibolg, he’s fighting for his life on river escapades. And when he’s not quick enough, Dokuro-chan’s catchy incantation brings him back to life! Bludgeoning and blood splatters aside, can Dokuro-chan save the one she loves without damaging the future?
Dokuro-chan is way more violent while Haiyoru is more of a dead-pan, slow comedy. That being said, there are hyper violent moments in Haiyoru that made me laugh; if you liked that element of the show, do check out Dokuro-chan for a factor of 50.
In a normal neighborhood in a normal city, a young maid arrives from the maid village to help out a young unnamed girl. But this battery-operated being is no ordinary maid! Not only can she remove her head and turn her body into glue (amongst other things), Cheko-chan also has the wackiest of friends. From Mizore, the edible snow spirit from the north, to Nachiko, a large squid who likes to change faces, to Kanato the Yankee, the bully who is the strongest of them all, it seems the craziness has just begun in the life of a once typical high school student.

The year is 48650 and in Merkur, humankind is at war with the machine race. High in their regal mansion, the quirky robots Lady Drossel Von Flugel and her servant Gedachtnis spend their time discussing the intricacies of life. From the art of letter writing and human verbal communication to the trials of owning a pet, the two show themselves to be utterly clueless. Then again, who cares when you have a robotic monkey to play with?

There's a new teacher in town – Spelunker! This unusual man is anything but a typical instructor, giving speeches about traffic safety to the students, reacting strangely to a humidifier, and enjoying lunch – albeit with ample condiment mishaps. With such a bizarre new role model to learn from, Spelunker's students will never be the same!

If you had enough of the dialogue in Haiyoru and want something a bit more random that's a lot funnier, check out the recent Spelunker Sensei!
There's plenty of fun to be had in one typical high school. Whether the popular and egotistical Megumi showers Masamune in kisses, or the feisty Emika pummels the poor and loving Kyousuke with her fists, there's never a dull day amongst these friends!

Two comedic yet non-funny titles about slice of life happenings in some boring characters' lives, with plenty of bad animation to boot.
