I wasn't expecting to like so much an anime about childcare. Story As an anthology series, the anime is about a dad learning how to be a father for his young daughter. The stories thorugh the episodes are easy to watch, witht cute, humorous and dramatic plots that the autor managed to create great for every obstacle the parents or the child faces during their mutual growth. Animation It's simple but effective. What is drawn is only what needs to be on the screen for each of the stories and for a bit of ambientation, and nothing else. Also the lines brings up the feeling of a child's drawing, what matches nicely with the project. Sound I loved it. Again, just as succint as all the other areas; still the noise details and ambientation sounds and music were very well done. Characters Both the daughter and the dad were very well developed and the writer maneged to show strong and nice personality traits of them, even though they have no "real" faces nor talk at all. I would've liked to see more of the mother's characteristics, but that doesn't exclude any points for me. Overall The anime looks pretty simply done at first glance, but that's whole point of it, and why it works so well and is so closely-knit, as it is supposed to be a child's play and almost how a child would be able to create it by themselfs. In the end, my biggest feeling when I finished the series was: heartwarming.
