Grandma and Her Ghosts

This is a story about a boy visiting his grandmother and the adventures/trouble he has with his ghost seeing granny. Grandma is a bit on the odd side but does all she can to aid the ghosts who seek her assistance. It's a pretty basic plot line with a small boy facing evil and having to overcome his fear. The translation isn't great: the subtitles don't always make corrent English sentences. On the plus side there is a great respect and treatment for animals ranging from the quadrapedel domesticated canine to the occasionally bipedal mammalial whale. And the relationship between the Grandma and DouDou (young boy) is heartwarming as they both learn more about each other. It's a pretty enjoyable watch and the music's uplifting but if you're looking for a really compelling story with great characters, epic fights, straight up comedy you're looking in the wrong place.
