Maybe it's just me, but both Scryed and Godannar seem to have the same feeling, as far as anime goes. Of coruse Scryed doesn't have the level of fanservice that Godannar does, but the overall flow of the episodes is similar and the colors and visuals are also somewhat the same.

Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventures

Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventures

Kazuki Yotsuga is able to see things that others can't; in his visions, giant robots battle it out in the streets, causing massive damage in their wake. Though his visions have made him an outcast from the rest of his peers, they have attracted the attention of Ken Sanada – a physicist who believes Kazuki’s visions are a gateway into a parallel world! He places Kazuki into one of his inventions and accidentally sends him to the parallel world in his visions, where he finds himself in the middle of a war for control of the world! Kazuki must now become a pilot of one of the robots in order to join the fight for peace, all the while trying to find his way back to his own world…

Well both of these shows seem to have a similar feeling to them, where the plot and the characters aren't too serious and there are big robot battles and all. Also the fact that they both have 'hot girls' in skimpy clothing, and other such fanservice.

Gravion

Gravion

In the distant future, the universe is under attack by robotic destroyers named Zeravire whose goal is to eradicate all of mankind. Enter Klein Sandman, a millionaire with a penchant for saving the world – or at least, one can assume. He’s built the mecha Gravion, a machine capable of destroying the Zeravire with the help of several young pilots, but piloting it comes at a high price. Along with sheltered Toga, well endowed Mizuki and a varied cast of pilots and maids alike, young Shigure Eiji must help lead Gravion to victory, else all of humanity will perish!

Both are mecha shows with overly excessive fan-service. In both shows humans are engaged in a fight for their lives against monsters from outer space. If you like the panty shots, bouncing boobs, and giant robots in one then you'll enjoy the other as well.

Gravion Zwei

Gravion Zwei

Eiji, Togo, Leele, Mizuki, Luna and Ena are back, and continue to battle the Zeravire daily in the combined super mecha Gravion! Along with fighting off the robotic invaders, the crew has maid duty, botched onsen visits and picnics with Sandman and Raven to handle. With the eminent threat of destruction ongoing and the maids working overtime, can the crew fight off the bad guys and show up their rivals (the elite G-Soldier Squadron) all while having a good time?

Both are mecha shows with excessive fan-service. In both shows humans are engaged in a fight to protect innocent people from monsters that came from outer space. If mechs, panty shots and gigantic boobs are what you like about one then you'll enjoy the other.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

The fate of Japan and the entire world now lie with these three children, though they might not have the power to save the most important thing of all: each other.

Aliens are attacking earth and it's up to a team of mecha pilotes to save the day. Godannar feels like a parody to the mecha genre and to Eva it's self. Both make you think a lot but not so seriously with Godannar where Eva just makes you wonder what is even going on. Eva is a lot more serious than Godannar. Both have a certain amount of fanservice but Godannar takes it to a new level. Check one out if you liked the other.

Gunbuster

Gunbuster

In the early 21st century, insectoid organisms are invading the galaxy, searching for new stars to house their young. Mankind's only defense lies with space cadets such as Takaya Noriko, daughter of a celebrated admiral killed in battle, and Amano Kazumi, the top of her class. With their skill and the power of the mecha known as GunBuster, the girls must help fight to protect the galaxy from total annihilation...

These 2 anime seem like they were made for each other. Both are about a girl who is clumsy yet tries her hardest to protect those around her. Plenty of fanservice and a pretty interesting plot to surround. Gunbuster does act more serious than Godannar but that's not to say that Godannar doesn't have a serious side to it. But it is really hard to take seriously. Check one out if you liked the other.

They are both shows where there is an alien force is attacking earth and they need to use everything they have to keep them from taking over. Both have differences in many ways but both are good shows.

Both series happen to be love letters to the super robot genre. They also contain fanservice.

There is a "Pair" of reasons I am giving this recommnedation.  Being a mecha/comedy is not the primary set.  Sure both titles have piloted mecha with animation that is super glossy, but there is another reason...

That second reason is one that involves the words bouncy, stacked, racked, jiggly... I could go on.

*Ahem*  Anyhow, if you enjoy mecha with a side of boobs, either of these titles will be a good fit as a follow up.

Brain Powered

Brain Powered

In a possible future, mysterious devices called plates create robotic "Antibodys": Brain Powerds, or Grand Chers. In this world, a monumental structure known as Orphan lies at the bottom of the sea, slowly making its way to the surface to fly into space; however, its success would result in the death of every living being on the planet. Already, natural disasters are prevalent due to its ascension. In order to stop Orphen from obliterating humanity, the organization known as Novis Novah uses Brain Powerds to battle it, while Orphan searches for more plates and defends itself using Grand Chers. In the middle of this war is Hime, a girl who found and mastered a Brain Powerd on her own and joined Novis Noah, and Yuu, a boy who has served Orphan all his life but now decides to escape and fight alongside Hime. Can these two young people make a difference in this war? And what is the true purpose of Orphan?
