Both animes revolve and are based around music and a highschool environment. Some romance too, but the characters have gone through hardships.

If you liked one of these animes I would recommend the other. Both are really good BL animes I loved both of these so much. Also both of these animes are based of manga so if you do decided to watch these I would also recommend reading the manga too.

They are good BL stories. This reccomendation is right. I agree, if you don't agree, you are not, but i am.

Hitorijime is very much like Given. I think, just change their titles.

Hitorijime has the protective kousuke and strong, but soft setagawa.

Given has your cute Mafuyu, precious. Ritsuka and Yuki, the protective seme.

Just given has a lot of love triangles.

Both anime show 2 relationships:

Kousuke and Setagawa    |   Akihiko and Ugetsu and Haruki

Kensuke and Hasegura    |    Mafuyu and Ritsuka and Yuki

Struggles with relationships, tragedy, cool and sweet op, ed themes and super cute character art.

They're alike in the way the mc has support. Given may be a little more heavy hearted but it's just as wholesome
