In the fallout of nuclear war, the last of humanity survives with the help of life-like androids known as Dolls. Built to serve, some fight in wars as Tactical Dolls or T-Dolls. Now, an elite team comprised of T-Dolls are sent to face a new rogue threat, Sangvis Ferri. Leading them into battle is their new human commander, M4A1.

Really wanted to like this anime as much as I liked the game, but I just can't get invested in it. The characters look just different enough from the game to put me off, the animation quality is nothing special, and the story is clearly inspired by the game but the writing in the anime is just 'meh' at best. Overall it just feels sub-par aside from a good op and ed. There are too many other good anime I want to watch for me to justify watching the rest of this one, despite being a big fan of the game. Maybe it gets better later on, but as of ep 4 I've seen nothing to suggest that it will.

You'll probably want to know a bit of knowledge about the game itself before watching otherwise there may be a few bits that some characters do that you wonder how they did it, but those who know the games storyline, or atleast a good amount of its lore will probably find it enjoyable. There were a few bits here and there that made no sense (such as how a 30rd mag has about 80rds) but otherwise the animations were pretty good to me. Soundtrack is god tier. GFL has probably one of, if not, the best soundtracks ever, especially when introducing a member of SF. Characters were ehh.. I guess I just didnt like how some of their voicelines were like or their personalities, but oh well. Pretty good regardless though. Would recommend. Next season looks like it will be good, if thats in the works.

It's a good watch provided you've played say the mobile game of the same name. Apart from that any newcomer is going to find it extemely boring and without direction. IF you don't know who AR team is or ingram or kalina , it's the same thing you're gonna be hard pressed to even sit through ep 2 or 3.The story sort of takes the same route as the events in the game but it's a mish mash of sorts. The Animation and the characters are the backbone of this show and it's got a banger of an opening.
