I think there's no possible way that Yuugen Kaisha and Ghost Sweeper Mikami can't be compared to each other. The stories and characters are so similar that it's shocking: each involves a leading lady who is a penny pincher, and a ragtag crew of cohorts alongside her. Together, they take jobs involving the supernatural, either helping thwart it or help it to another reality. Each is a blend of comedy and action, though Yuugen Kaisha is far superior on every level to Ghost Sweeper Mikami.

Both are light-hearted shows which feature a money hungry female exorcist and her assistants as they take different jobs related to the supernatural with varying degrees of danger. They also mix some comedy among the action from time to time, so fans of one will enjoy the other too.

I didn't care much for either Demon Fighter Kocho or Ghost Sweeper Mikami; regardless, I think fans of one may enjoy the other. DFK is considerably more ecchi, but both series involve ghost hunting and have a campy feel. Try it on for size.

So the thing about ghost sweeper mikami and Demon fighter kocho it's a lot more different from the other because Bird Ghost sweeper mikami it only has 45 episodes but for demon fighter kocho is a lot different than ghost sweeper mikami because demon fighter kocho however it only runs about 30 minutes and it's a short OVA which is from any other anime before.

In the distant past, a ferocious monster plagued the land. Fast forward to the present, when young Ushio Aotsuki unwittingly releases the beast and names him Tora, much to the monster's dismay. Though Ushio and Tora isn't about ghost hunting, it has a similar mix of comedy and action (and monsters, of course!). Call it a hunch, but I think if you liked GSM you'd enjoy Ushio and Tora.

Admittedly, I didn't care much for either Ghost Stories or Ghost Sweeper Mikami; nevertheless, I'm fairly certain fans of one would enjoy the other. Both have plenty of ghost hunting goodness, though GSM has a fairly campy element that Ghost Stories is missing. If you liked one, try out the other.

Both are episodic shows featuring ghost hunters solving different cases related to the supernatural, be it a demon running amok, a ghost possessing someone, or something along those lines. Neither of them has an overarching story, but if this isn’t a problem to you and you liked one of them give the other a go!

Hengen Taima Yakou Karura Mau! Sendai Kokeshi Enka

Shoko and Maiko Ougi are apparently two ordinary schoolgirls in pursuit of graduating and having fun. Shii-chan is the more serious while Mai-chan is more fun-loving. In reality, the two sisters are powerful exorcists from the Karura temple. Each wields half the power... Shii-chan can see the spirits, and Mai-chan can banish them. This is a spooky series with heavy emphasis on traditionally Japanese occult themes.
