While the premise of both shows is as different as night and day, Inferno Cop shares with Gakuen Handsome the absurd, non-sensical humor combined with intentinally atrocious animation. It also appeals to the same audience so if you liked Gakuen Handsome and you're ccraving for something similar give Inferno Cop a try.

Like Gakuen Handsome Kachou no Koi is a parody of BL anime/manga that were done with cheap-looking animation to further stress it (thought not as (purposefully) badly done as in Gakuen Handsome). Kachou no Koi lacks the absurdity that Gakuen Handsome has, but if you just want another show that pokes fun of BL tropes then you can't go wrong with Kachou no Koi!
