Just amazing. Characters, plot, the curse, falling in love, struggling in life- just all what you need in a good romance drama show. Sometimes this anime was heavy/ serious and sometimes it was so light and brightfull. There were moments where I was speechles and teriffied with what i was watching, there were also moments were i felt amazig warm inside my heart and soul. This anime was like a light of hope for me. It tells you that you need to fight, that you are not worthless, that you are precious to someone or that you will be in the future, that you can't just give up on your life and yourself, even when people around don't accept you- one day you will find someone who will. We are not perfect and we will never be. Perfection is just something relative. Sometimes we make mistakes and sometimes we fall. But it is just so we can get up and go forward. No matter how broken or corrupt you are, there is always a way for you or a hand that you just need to grab. This anime will also remind you that it is better to wait for someone special, who will treat you good and care for you, as well that you should care for others and have them in your mind. This show will give you the courage to life and show you the beautifullness of live. Perfect if you feel down, hopeless or if you just want to watch something good. I fully recomend.
The first few episodes are so depressing.....with the opening.....even more depressing......hopes the mood lightens up soon.....gosh this anime just makes me look forward to what's next.....
I'm speechless...LITERALLY.
This final season made me cry, laugh, smile and feel sad. It made me realize many things in life as it really gets to your emotional side (I was emotional haha). Fruits Basket really shows the struggles and mistakes people make in life, but not to give up and hope for a good future. The pace of this anime was really good as it captured different emotions during each episode. The ending was amazing and i loved it, definitely one of my favourite shoujo animes. ^^
I've watched my fair share of anime, including the original Fruits Basket, and if I could rate this season more stars, I would.
The character development is fanominal, giving us a glimps into their pasts, emotions, traumas, and true intentions. This introspection is helpful to realizing that no one is truly a villain, their wrongful actions are just driven through their own pain and their attempt to deal with internal struggles (which I believe is useful to realize even in daily life, outside of the show).
This season comes full circle, tying off any loose ends for each character/sub-plot that was presented throughout the show as a whole. The animation style is quality and beautifully done, and the sound/voice acting truly drives home the emotions that these characters are feeling.
Overall, if you're wondering whether or not to watch this season, I highly reccomend you do! In my opinion, it is the best season of the three. So, happy watching! (ps. be prepared to cry)
Honestly the absolute BEST SEASON!
I think I love this season the most because you got to see everyone be free. I absolutely love the progression between Kyo and Tohru and am extremely happy at the character development they allowed to take place. would highly recommend especially if you initially watched the 2001 animations.
