Handsdown one of the best animals I have ever watched in the 17 years of me living the plot is amazing all of the character development is incredible the animation is incredible and just a storyline in general is amazing I thought it would've been like a normal romance anime but I am so happy it was not I had such a enjoyable time watching fruits basket yes at times it was very stressful especially in season three was extremely stressful for me to watch without Crying.
However it was such a good anime I definitely recommend it to everybody and the two main couples they have such a good development in their relationships it's mind blowing
The final season was heartbreaking and the last episode was bittersweet. Although, it did feel a little fast-paced for me with all the whole Akito part. I wish we could have seen more development.
Such a masterpiece. A brilliant finale for a fantastic piece of work.
The characters fine-tune their maturing in this season, tying up all lose ends so satisfyingly. The character design shifts subtly (except Momiji, whose change is in subtle) and suddenly the characters are so grown and I am crying.
The animation is just as beautiful as the previous seasons, though with the same odd walking. The ED illustrations are absolutely stunning and make me sob every time; they seem to be by the mangaka. But my true critique is the OP for the season, which has a very moving overall visual narrative, but with its strange Twilight-like coloring, it simply clashes with the rest of the series.
The score seems to blend the best in this season than any other, and I am pleased! I did not enjoy much the choice for the OP as it doesn't quite match the aesthetic and vibe of the series, however. But the ED is gorgeous, especially with the last line being "sayounara."
The perfect ending for an amazing series.
(spoiler free review) Ahh my heart. I feel bittersweet. The theme of this final season is very relatable. What i got frm it is that change is inevitable whether it be good or bad, & its up to us to move forward/embrace the change. This season definitely felt more like an expansion of season 2 than a brand new season on its own, as it's more trying to tie up certain loose ends. I say certain cuz i feel like some things were left hanging in the air (to be interpreted by the viewer)
(spoilers) Issues i hv:

WAOW!!! I finally pulled myself together to watch the last season because I was afriad of endning it and it had turned so dark! But I thought in the new year I will watch it and holy sh*t I have cried my eyes out and smiled from ear-to-ear man this is and has always been one of the best anime series that have ever been made! >///<
I tried watching it in english but the original japanese sound is just much more beautiful or at least for this season! <3
(SPOILER)
And what a beautiful and heartaching ending like waow I am so happy right now! It kinda reminded me of the endning of "Kamisama Kiss" and that anime is also one of my favorites ever! I do think the best thing about "Fruits Basket" is that everyone can watch it and of course we all want just a bit more like how they looked when they got old or what happened to the others if they also got a family or do they still see eachother BUT man I think this is the perfect endning of the series truely! <3 100% from me!
