Theese anime are similar in many aspects. The way girls fight with superpowers supported by their male partners. Allien technology, ecchi/fanservice, it all fits. If you like one of them, be sure to try the other one ;)
These series each follow a sect of super powered women. Near the start of the series, the lead female meets a lead male, a more or less worthless individual that manages to aid her. These series each have some non-human bad guy group that these girls are supposed to fight. Finally, I believe each series will have some sort of larger mystery behind the super powered women. Finally, each series has a lot of large breasts, for the avid ecchi lover.
Lots of girls trying to make form a "contract" with one guy in particular. lots of other girls want to fight with the first set of girls(the drooling ones). Then awesome powers are used to rip clothes.
If you liked one, check out the other.
Both anime have lots of girls fighting each other and in both anime boys are needed aroud them to make them stronger...
Do you like girls with big boobs that fight against each other while they ruin each others clothes?
Then you'll probably like both ^^
As the protagonist gets a rare opportunity in both series, he gets the rare chance that many characters don't get. The protagonist in Freezing is able to do something nobody else can do and is attracted to the main female protagonist. while in Sekirei, the main male protagonist is wanted by many women during the duration of a game that a mysterious character creates. Both are very ecchi, and both are very attractive series to watch. If you like one of these, my best bet would be you will like the other.
The similaritie between these animes is obvious.Beautifull, strong teenage girls fight each other, but they all need a guy to increase their power.
Girls with megaboobs and male helpers who fight each other? Plenty of ecchi and violence to go around? Sekirei and Freezing are two bulbous peas in a pod.
both of there animes have a bunch of girls wanting to be with the main character but freezing has a lot of blood and goore but the story is more of the same as sekirei
girls fighting with big boobs ... Freezing is much more violent i guess you could say but overall you get the same
Both animes feature girls with/that:
- Special powers
- Contracts with male partners that enhance their powers
- Fight each other and 'lose' their clothes while they're at it
- Big boobs
- Alien technology
Loads of battles between girls with male partners, and plenty of ecchi scenes with clothes being conveniently ripped to expose breasts during battle.
Yup, fans of one show will probably find the other entertaining for the above reasons.
Where did her clothes go and why has she taken no other damage? You may find yourself wondering these things while watching these two animes. If you like panty shots during intense battle scenes, these animes have that to the extreme. Another interesting fact is these fighting ladies can't truly access their powers without a male counterpart (well, Sekirei can be female, but typically male) to watch from the sidelines.
Both of these Anime involve similar kind of plot, where strong powered women, Sekirei in case of Sekirei and Pandoras in case of Freezing need a Male character to help them improve their combat ability. And this male character in case of Sekirei is called an Aashiqabi and a Limiter in case of Freezing. Both these animes involve panty shots and Ecchi. But Sekirei seems to be involving Harem and here in Freezing Main Character seems to be attracted to only one Pandora. If you liked either one of them, then you would definetely love the other one. If you are an Ecchi lover then you will love both the animes. Go for it.
The development of the Infinite Stratos powered exoskeleton changed the world’s balance of power. While the distribution of IS systems has created peace, only women have been able to pilot them. So when Ichika Orimura is discovered to be the first male with the ability to control an IS, whatever plans he had for his future are tossed out the window even as he’s thrown to the wolves and enrolled at the otherwise entirely female Infinite Stratos Academy by order of the Japanese government!

These series each follow a large group of super powered women and an unusual male lead. While learning to fight, great powers awaken that amaze everyone. Also, there is a lot of ecchiness in each series.
Infinite stratos is more tame but also a more cliché harem anime. It has an even more naive male lead and the characters are more shallow. If you like classic harem you'd like both.
If you liked Infinite Stratos or Freezing, you'd enjoy the other because they're both about high-school girls with super powers. There's also plenty of ecchi. While Freezing has a slightly more serious tone to the plot, the two shows have similar themes.
Women with superpowers. Add one guy. Awesome. While freezing has more guys(somewhere stuffed in the background) they both generally resolve around one particular male and a group of female.
If you liked one, check out the other.
Both series center around the concept that women have special abilities and the fact that the male lead also holds power equal to greater than those of the women. Throw in a good amount of ecchi and these series are pretty similar. Though Infinite Stratos is a harem and never really gets and Freezing does get quite serious and violent at times. I still sure that if you liked one of these then you'll probably like the other as well.
Looking for good Mecha/Ecchi series? These two handle very similarly. A male lead character that can use the mecha's in a way nobody could before, and the group of women that follow his every step.
These two anime are so much alike it's crazy, the story may be different but there are so many similarites. Freezing and Infinite Stratos both are harems although Freezing has a more ecchi side to it. Both the main characters stands out, Infinte Stratos his the only male who can use a IS and in Freezing the main characters ability is significantly higher than other males.
Both the main characters has a famous older sister who are known to be the strongest IS user/Pandora. Freezing has a darker feel to it rather than Infinite Stratos but if you liked one of them you are bound to like the other.
both animes feel the same way! really hot chicks that fight and a special lucky guy in the middle of the futuristic school enviroment!
Freezing and Infinite Stratos are very similar. Both anime are realy great and i would absolutely recommend you to watc them, 5out of 5 for both of them. They take place in the future and they battle with summond gears against each other. The only diffrence in story line is that IS is a complete harem-scenario anime. But both are worth youre while.
Echhi, harem, etc. Freezings a little darker than IS and has a bit of dismemberement but both are fairly enjoyable.
A ridiculous amount of fanservice, a group of battle hardened super-powered girls chasing after a bland male lead and a plot that is pretty generic. These shows have it all in common.
If fanservice is your thing then these series are perfect for you, although Freezing is a fair bit more explicit than Infinite Stratos ever gets.
So, how about them boobs. Good stuff, fanservice a plenty and both shows have plenty of them to jiggle around. Well, Freezing to a greater extent but babes who get super powers or some higher power over guys, complete with harems, a less than great male protagonist (Wussbag Wimp-Lo for Freezing and Star-Grade Density for Infinite Stratos), delicious ecchi scenarios, fights against bad girls and budding romances with a pointless fanservice filler episode or two. Freezing is by far the more explicit of the two in terms of nudity and violence but both are still decent watches if you're in the mood for nothing too taxing on the brain.
They are both similar that in a combat school setting both males have a unique ability. Both are filled with Harem, Action, and Ecchi. They are very similar in a great deal of ways including many of the characters.
Both of these ecchi anime include a young man going to a school where the female population is vastly greater than the male. (In IS, he's the only male, in Freezing there are a few other guys seen) This leads to a lot of girl-on-girl turf wars, which often gets out of hand because the girls either have special abilities that make them extremely powerful.
In times of olde, humans live in constant fear of demons known as yoma. These vicious creatures can take the appearance and memories of humans they have devoured, thus blending into society as they freely feast on human flesh. The key to stopping the yoma lies with the tolerated yet feared Claymores - women who are half-demon, half-human, and fully fated to become the demons that they hunt. Meanwhile, in a village, the young Raki has been banished; his only crime was losing his family to the yoma. Raki is drawn to a Claymore named Clare, and together their journey begins. While Clare fights the yoma plaguing the land, can Raki help her in her struggle to retain her humanity?

Girls take foreign objects into their bodies which give them power to fight both monsters, and themselves. Freezing is a lot darker than just another ecchi anime. And you will see this more and more as the series progresses. The tragic backstories of the some of the characters, the violence, the semi-monster transformations, the death and suffering, and many other things make these two anime very similar.
Claymore is about a group of female warriors who hunt demons. The main Claymore, Claire, is supported by a young boy named Raki.
In Freezing, a group of female warriors fight an alien menace. The main character, Bridgette, is supported by a young boy named Kazuya.
If you took Claymore, brought it to the future and added some gratuitous ecchi, you would have Freezing. If you like one I think you would enjoy the other.
Both of these have a similar theme: A large order of girls are given a component of their fantastical enemies in order to gain the power to defeat them and the main female protagonist seems to possess an enomrmous amount of power. They also are accompanied by a hapless young boy and like to fight amongst themselves but band together when fighting the enemy. Furthermore both animes ended with an indication that more was yet to follow. Freezing is more ecchi and Claymore is demon-oriented but both can be pretty violent.
Freezing and Claymore are essentially the same thing with different bells and whistles. Freezing's main story line is a group of elite fighters both female and male defend the city. Where as Claymore has a group of elite female fighters going around the country killing monsters. Both male leads are idiots and to me more or less takes away from the show rather than adding to it. If you like one you should like the other.
An entirely female task force whose sole purpose is to defeat evil monsters/aliens? And the females get their fighting abilities by using monster/alien tech? And they're ok with that? Add in a hapless young man, some tragic pasts, and bone-crushing fight scenes, and you have Freezing and Claymore. Claymore is definitely the darker of the two, but Freezing has it's moments.
these two definitly pair up.
The core story elements are almost identical except for when the story happens. Monsters... chicks who can't exceed their limits but do... boobs... lots of boobs....more boobs. If you enjoyed the sub par story line that Claymore had to offer then you're going to love freezing. lesbihonest, None of us are watching freezing for the story line ;).

All the perverted Issei wants is to squeeze bountiful boobs all day long, so he's thrilled to join Kuou Academy, a once all-female high school filled with gorgeous girls. But little did the boy know that after finally getting a girlfriend, she'd turn out to be a fallen angel who'd drive a lance through his heart, killing him on the spot! Luckily, the beautiful and busty Rias, his popular classmate who's actually a demon, revives him under one condition: that he'll become her servant. Now, Issei finds himself in the middle of a fierce chess game between demons, fallen angels and exorcists, and the fates of his new friends lie in the balance!

On the surface they may not look too similar, what with one being about demons and religion, and the other being about girls with strange powers battling an enemy of humanity. But beyond that i feel they share a lot in common.
For starters, they both have a really bland, contrived plot that is neither well written or entertaining. The main male is a boring, pathetic excuse for a human being. The battles are similar in choreography, even down to the clothing being ripped in the chest area every five seconds, because what better to cover up a shitty plot with than loads of boobs?
Chances are if you were able to enjoy one of these shows, the other will appeal to you for much the same reasons as the other.
well, if you can't get your dose of ecchi and fanservice overload on one be certain to check out the other. as a fan of neither, they do have two things strongly in common, so chances are if you liked one of these you're going to like the other.
Both anime showing full of boobs, ecchi, harem & that's enough for me. Regretfully High School DXD is too short for being anime rather than manga. Btw, the anime's GOOD than the 2nd season.
If You'd like things like this i'd reccomended you all to watch Sekirei too :)
Both of these animes have Great Action, Great Comedy, Great Ecchi.
Nothing else needs saying.
If you liked the dynamic between the MC and the mysterious, voluptuous, OP senpai, then HS DxD does a better job at it.
For 1800 years the seven schools of Kantou have fought over supremacy of the land. Their students constantly fight each other in battles to prove their strength. Sonsaku Hakufu is a 17 year old girl that just transferred to Nanyou Academy, and at her arrival, finds herself fighting one of its top 4 fighters. But Sonsaku possesses a soulstone which contains the spirit of a great fighter, and she is not an easy match. When an order is issued to defeat Sonsaku, she finds herself in all out war against all of the schools top fighters. What lies behind this dark conspiracy?

both animes revolve around (mostly) girls who are fighting eachother. they're both quite ecchi with alot of fanservice, ripping clothes and pantie shots. there's also alot of violence in both animes, which sometimes is quite bloode and gruesome.
If you like one of these, you'll like the other too.
If you like Ikkitousen you will love this series and vice versa. These series are pretty much identical. Freezing has scantily clad women who, as the fight goes on, end up naked. So does Ikkitousen. Freezing has epic character development, as does Ikkitousen. The storylines are romantic, cute, and sweet. The ever threat of a school hounding an underclassmen is there as well. If you like one you WILL like the toher.
Both of these schools must have uniforms in bulk because clothes are flying with every fight. Busty ladies constantly fighting is the name of the game in these anime. If you liked one, try the other. The plots aren't that great in either, but the chests are fantastic!
In a world where Japan's security rests in the hands of super-powered samurai and their masters called "generals", Muneakira Yagyuu, the official swordsmanship tutor to the family of the shogun, arrives at Buou Academy in order to serve as head of the school's dojo. However, while he hopes this will be a routine assignment at an all-girl's school, everything changes when a strange girl falls from the sky with a power of a Master Samurai and no memory...

These series each follow a lot of very powerful women fighting some mysterious force. A man comes along and is surprisingly useful at helping out the female fight. Oh, and boobs. A lot of boobs. If you like ecchi and action, these series fit together well.
Right, the only thing these anime differ in is the era they're set in. One is the furture, the other is the future with samurai. Both anime involve lots of ripped clothes(girls only), lots of drooling about one guy(girls only) and lots of fighting(mostly girls only)
If you liked one, check out the other.
I think Freezing and Hyakka Ryouran are very similar because both are about strong big-breasted girls who want the same boy and they want him all to themselves.I also think both of these anime's animation is similar and unique at the same time. The boy is innocent and always wants to do the right thing.
If you liked one you'll definetly like the other.
In the future, a devastating event known as Second Impact has destroyed Tokyo as we know it, giving rise to Tokyo III - a city under siege by mysterious lifeforms known only as Angels. Mankind's only line of defense are the Evangelions, a set man-made machines piloted by a trio of fourteen year-old teenagers, Rei, Shinji, and Asuka. The fate of Japan and the entire world now lie with these three children, though they might not have the power to save the most important thing of all: each other.

Even though they have kinda difrent plots, the fate of humanity is on the hands of teens (on Freezing they're Pandoras, on EVA they're The Chosen Ones).
Both of these anime take place in a setting where an alien race is trying to annihilate mankind, which give them a similar mood. They also delve deeply into the psyche of the characters portrayed. Both feature very intense fights too.
Although NGE has a different setting (and no ecchi), young children also have to fight against unknown creatures (in Freezing, they're from an other dimension, in NGE they're aliens) appearing for unknown reasons. Although some want to and some don't, they're the only ones who can defeat them and save humanity. The story evolves deeply and so do the characters. The fights are intense too. If you don't mind missing some ecchi, you'll certainly enjoy NGE!
It is currently the Taiheimeji era, during the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate. In this era, breasts mean everything. If you have breasts, you are guaranteed wealth and popularity, but if you lack them, you are rarely considered human. Inside the shogunate, there is a group of warriors that support the government—the Manyū Clan, which helps raise the future big breasts. Written on a secret scroll possessed by the clan, there are said to be various techniques on how to grow big and beautiful breasts. Chifusa is the heir of the clan. However, she takes the secret scroll and runs away with it, hoping to fight against the cruel world that the Manyū Clan has created…

Both Freezing and Manyuu Hiken-Chou are insanely occupied with featuring as much despicable fanservice as possible, and while I personally hate both of them with all of my heart, people who liked one of them is certain to enjoy the other. They both contain fighting with prominent innuendos that take the norms of Ecchi and exaggarate them gruesomely. I know what purpose they serve, and if they work for you, then congratulations.
While having quite different main plots I believe these two animes contain quite a few common elements. For one they both feature women as the main "fighters", and both contain quite a bit of convenient cloth-ripping in the process. To be noted is that Manyuu Hiken-chou is not quite as dark as Freezing.
Takasu Ayako can handle anything; duels with foreign powers and assassination attempts don’t faze her. But can she handle falling in love? Fellow students at the prestigious school for Beatrice users are shocked to hear that their "Angel of Death" Ayako, who has never even shown a smile before, has fallen in love at first sight with the diminutive freshman Yoshimura Mamoru. Mamoru must decide how to respond to the sudden confession of love, the resulting fascination of his fellow students, and the dangers of being near Ayako. Will his own powers ever measure up?

Both shows start out at a special school for gifted, magic-esque, students. The strong female lead is feared throughout the school and is entirely avoided until a new transfer student arrives. The male lead, albeit weak in comparison, assumes a van guard role. Venus to Mamoru is more "Moe", while the lead in Freezing is more Tsundere. If you liked one, the other is worth a look.
Even from just the first few episodes so far I've watched, I am immediately reminded of Freezing. Unlike Freezing though, this series is sweet with a innocent pure love feeling to it and without all the excessive perversions and pointless bloody violence Freezing has. Basically, Mamoru is a far better version of Freezing and with guys able to do magic as well rather than acting as power boosters or shields as they do in Freezing. Mamoru is what Freezing could have been if the studio that made actually cared at all about women, romance, love, or a story that does not depend on violence for the sake of violence rather than pertaining to the story. Mamoru has a kind of violence in the cute way Misaki does it in Railgun which is usually caused by embaressing situations due to her infatuation with a boy. The lead male in both have a unique power that makes them stand out and gives them a bit of an edge in school.
One day, humanity was invaded by another world. Having experienced that battle, known as Other World War I, humanity moved to marine floats, built for emergency evacuation purposes, as soon as Other World War II began. It's around that time that Kizuna Hida is summoned by his elder sister and visits the Strategic Defense Academy Ataraxia where he meets Aine Chidorigafuchi, a girl who uses Heart Hybrid Gear Zeros to fight the otherworldly enemies. He has a tough time dealing with her, but when her Gear runs out of energy, the only way to get it back in action is to do something lewd to her!

Both anime feature a group of girls with special implants that grant them special powers and the means to save humanity from an otherwordly threat. In both of them a guy assist them to fight their enemies, though in freezing they fight in pairs while in Masou Gakuen HxH there's only one guy assisting the whole group.
Both shows are quite ecchi as well, but Masou Gakuen HxH definitely takes the cake.
All in all, fans of one will definitely like the other.
Freezing contains an improved version of using boys to power up the female fighters, even allowing mulitple boys for one girl. IMHO, this contains more drama than HxH, but I feel that's one of it's strengths.
