Both fatal fury and street fighter are both baised on fighting games and have similar fighting themes. The good guys always train to be the best, but then the bad guys show up with some alternative way to gain power and take over the world. Either with psycho powers or armor, the villians just can't get enough of the wooping. If you enjoy solid fighting animes, then these are for you.

Fatal Fury and Street Fighter are all about the marital arts that are here to kick butt and chew bubblegum. And they are all out of bubblegum!  The fists and feet fly furious in both anime and the action flows fairly well from one fight scene to the next that are faithful to the powers unleashed from the fighting game. A heckuva good time to watch someone being throttled!

Both Vampire Hunter D and Fatal Fury are old time anime about the future and fantastic places, where mighty heroes should rescue Earth from a disease which is born because of some mistakes made by humans in the past. Although these anime have different plots, they are similar in style and character design, and the main purpose for the adventure is the same.

Both Fatal Fury and Street Fighter are cant-go-wrong animes. If you grew up on the games like I did, and are just looking for a cheesy anime to kick back and watch the time go by, or perhaps you're feeling a little nostalgic, and just want to see some people kick the crap out of eachother, then check these out. They each also have several spin-offs as well if you enjoyed these titles.

The better video game adaption fighter OAV pure popcorn film is Fatal Fury in my opinion. So, if you liked titles that were made for pixilated 16-32bit Cathode Tube screens, and cartridge game systems, you might enjoy the other.
