Both of these anime deal with martial artists overcoming difficult task to prove to themselves they are worthy of who they are. Street Fighter Alpha follows the story of a man named Ryu strugling to break free from an evil fighting spirit known as the dark hadou which was awoken within him by his arch nemesis Akuma. Definitly a must watch for any martial arts anime fan!

Both of these are 90's martial arts anime that are based on video games.  They both are action packed and have a similar feel.  If you like one, you will probably like the other.
