With a large cast of characters with various powers, both anime showcase fun and quirky personalities. I would say that Boku no Hero Academia is like a more focused Fairy Tail; there's way less episodes, way less filler, and more fights. Granted, the trade off is that if you've been sticking around in Fairy Tail, you're probably more attached to those characters because of how long you've known them in comparison to those from Boku No Hero Academia. With a second season now airing however, Boku no Hero Academia may prove to change that and add in more character development for more than just the protagonist. Both series have a tournament arc and both series have that classic shounen feel to them.
They both have lots of action, comic relief, they both deal with some sort of unrealistic aspect such as magic or quirks, and they bothe deal with perseverance and overall some pretty deep stuff.

Naruto contains alot of fighting scenes however there are alot of fillers which does reduce the quality. Most of the fillers are howerver, quite enjoyable. It's a long ride, longer than Fairy Tail but gets you heated up at moments.
