Eureka Seven: New Order - Reviews

New Order shows us the initial script for the ending of Eureka Seven.

It was rejected due to better fit its target audience. Shounen.

There is no new animation. Video itself is like compilation of previous scenes with past events.

The whole episode should be treated like patch, that we should apply to original Eureka show.

This ending will not be enjoyable for those, who really liked the happy ending of tv series.

However... I could never imagined before, that the simple dialog between main characters can be so powerful, touching and hurting.

It shows us, how a few words can impact on inevitable future.

I recommed this to anyone, who loved the original and was not satisfied with overuse of pink colors, hearts and nonsense in its ending.

Eureka Seven: New Order is more than a simple recap with an alternate ending. As a prelude to the then upcomming Eureka Seven AO the episode's goal was to give both new and old viewers a recap of the previous serious with one major change in mind. The ending. You see Eureka Seven's ending was very different from its source material and while the ending is way happier than going forward I think Bones thought it relevant to realign the anime as they prepared to release the new series. Whether this helped Eueka Seven AO I cant say but never the less I can definately see from a story standpoint why it was done.

Both endings are great and the only differences are that one is a little more rewarding than the other while the other is way more emotonal. Never the less the episode did set expectations for how Eureka Seven AO.
