they have a really similar feel to them and both about unrequited love for a teacher

>coming from domekano to koi to usoEXPECT more time into actual rivalry in love from the love interests, while the main character is really equally as blank. the characters are more likeable, while still providing an interesting character drama.DO NOT EXPECT ecchi. it does has a bit of ecchi, but that's about it. coming from flat out sex scenes and delicious forbidden love, you come to a vanilla story.>coming from koi to uso to domekanoEXPECT a bit more of a heavier story, koi to uso will feel way lighter even though domekano has absurd ecchi slapstick moments, it still feels quite heavyDO NOT EXPECT, well, a more vanilla story i guess? again, this one has forbidden love.

Koi to uso and domestic na kanojo both revolve around the theme of unrequited love, I would recommend people currently enjoying this winter anime to go ahead and check out Koi to uso, or known as Love and Lies.

Citrus and Domestic Girlfriend are pretty much the same anime with one key difference. First the similarities:

  • They both are about the protagonist's parents re-marrying.
  • The parents both marry the parent of someone the protagonist knows at school.
  • The protagonist and the new siblings eventually start having an incestial relationship
  • In both, one of the love interests holds some position of power in the school
  • One of the love interests (in both) is randomly aggressive AF at times.
  • The rest of the anime is essentially just spicy monemts one after the other.

Now the key differences with Citrus:

  • Not only is it incest, but they're also both girls, so lesbian incest...
  • No sex actually happens in the show

And that's about it...

Starletka Starletka says

Both are soap opera trash shows full of hentai tropes, about step siblings who fall in lust. The only difference is one is straight and one is gay.

Both of the anime are revolved around relationships between 1 man and 2 women. They are both dealing with teenagers. The relationships in Domestic Girlfriend are more controversial than in Girlfriend, Girlfriend though. Girlfriend, Girlfriend is more comedic than Domestic Girlfriend which has a slightly more serious tone to it.
