Old school anime from the days when children-targeted shows still kept the trail left by Disney's works, using anthropomorphized animals as the only characters.

Even so, they are still quite enjoyable even if lots of water passed under the bridge of animation since the 80s.

A total blast from the past comes in the form of two classic tales re-told with the help of some friendly animal faces. Willy Fog travelling around the world in 80 days is now a friendly lion, and the 3 Musketeers are played by a group of handsome hounds. Childish in nature, these shows will definitely appeal to kids of the 80's (especially those that can remember the BBC broomcuboard).

If you're old enough to have watched and loved one, the other should definitely appeal to you.

Dogtanian was a favourite of mine growing up and watching television. It was only later that I discovered Willy Fog, to be honest they are both very similar in a lot of respects and of course they are aimed at younger children but there is a lot of appeal if you appreciate older animation and that retro feeling of nostalgia you get when watching something so old.

If you like one of them you are going to at least enjoy the other one.
