Centuries ago, the land of China was full of magical spirits. Those who could utilize the power of spirits were called Exorcists. Their duty was to prevent the Great Diablo, a demon showed up once every millennium, from plaguing the world. In Han Dynasty, however, in a catastrophe known as The Oblivion, all magical spirits vanished overnight. Having lost their powers, Exorcists became a thing in the past. Later, during the incessant war between Qin and Jin kingdoms, the resentful spirits of those who died in vain became the nutrients triggering the revival of the Great Diablo. In order to stop the demon, Chen Xing, the last surviving Exorcist, starts a journey with "Lamp of the Heart", a magical artifact that lives in his soul. He is to travel to Xiangyang City to find Xiangshu, who is destinied to join him to expel the demon.

Honestly so far this is the best Chinese bl anime I've watched. Now I haven't wanted to many Chinese anime since I'm kinda just now getting back into anime but like this is the most active anime in like romance I've seen. I would say this is more as a like subtle but still there in the romance angels. I'm really happy about it honestly and am excited for more episodes to come out. In story aspect it's not regressing and I'm a little confused about what's happening at points especially at the beginning, but over all it's pretty good. (Lol this comment might not make since but in all I like the anime)

Honestly, I didn't mind this show. I ended up binging the entire first season in one sitting. The 3D wasn't that bad and you get used to it after a couple of episodes. Now for the story, a tad bit of spoilers after this. this isn't hob, but it wasn't that bad, it's a little difficult understanding what's going on at first but it gets better. I liked how magic was basically extinct in this series and one of the major goals is getting it back. It's a different from the normal cultivation genre where basically everyone cultivates, this makes the MC special. I know it's labeled as bl but it doesn't really show at all, but that's okay. There may not be that much romantic chemistry between mc and ml, but there's definitely a connection. all in all, I'd say give it a go if you want to

I was honestly shocked by how good this was considering it's 3d rather than 2d. The animation was incredible. Especially when compared to other lesser 3d animations I have seen. The characters were gorgous as well as likable, and the action scenes were visually stunning as well. I can barely wait to see what happens next in the story assuming they renew for another season.
