Diabolik Lovers - Reviews

Please read my full review cuz I think I bring up some pretty good points:
Okay you'll see lots of reviews saying the boys are horrible and don't care about consent yada yada yada, but this anime is TARGETED to people who like the whole "hot over possesive guys" thing (aka me lol) so if you don't like over possesive guys assaulting girls, yeah you're gonna think it's gross, but if you like over possesive guys fighting over you that are really hot, you're gonna enjoy it and that's what this anime is meant for!

Also, the characters are not at all as bland and black and white as people think, all these characters come from visual novels and they're actually really well-written, unique, and interesting characters with their own quirks and personalities. They also all have backstories that really explain their actions. And Yui is WAY better in the visual novels. I'll admit, as much I like this anime, this anime did not give the characters justice to just how unique and in depth and, once you get to know them, likable, they are.

Like I said earlier, this anime is MEANT for people who like the whole over possesive hot guys. People who find that toxic will not like it. People who like that stuff will, though they may get annoyed because like I said the characters weren't done justice. I really hope in season 3 more of their personalities are seen and people can see just how interesting and well-written the franchise is! :)

I'm not sure if I enjoyed this anime. Plot is kinda interesting, but when you closely look at the mc. Her acts doesn't really make sence. She let the brothers do whatever they want to her without any bigger resisting or fighting. NO RAPE!! or SEXUAL ABUSE!!

The grafics are pretty good. I personally liked the detailes of hair and eyes, which were really elaborate. Oposite are some objects in the house which didn't fit in the plot (If you remember mc's bed for exemple).

Characters looks good, but for second sight you can feel that all brothers act practically same.

I'll take it straight. This anime isn't for everyone. I guess there won't be much men who would say they liked this show. Even girls will propably have diferent opinion, since mc is acting really naive, shy and helpless (NO HATE!).

Aterall I think this anime is average. If you like shoujo anime you should probably like this one too.

This was awful. The male characters were abusive asshats that I prefered get a stake through the heart & the girl was a spineless dummy. The story or lack there of did not get going until the last few episodes. I am not sure what the writers were trying to do but it flopped. Lots of forced feeding that was really creepy when a child vampire got in on the actl Yuk! Ewwww! Gross!

I am going to add this minor spoiler. She was given cranberry juice to drink to help with her blood loss. The writers need to go back to high school biology 101. Cranberry juice is a blood thinner. Everyone knows that if you have anemia the LAST thing to put in your body is ANY kind of blood thinner. Well, this is besides the story stupidity of anyone being able to survive the blood loss that girl went through with all those leeches sucking the lifes blood out of her all the time.

that's the review. No point in writing a long review about plot because there wasn't any.

Right, I'm going to start with saying even considering to give this a rating of 2 out of 10 is being extremely generous. I don't want to dramatise this ordeal too much so I'll take it down a few couple hundred notches to making me want to launch myself off a cliff and into a brick wall.

A harem is already a waving red flag. A reverse harem, you've been smacked with a red flag. A poorly written reverse harem, you've taken that red flag and deep throated it. A poorly written reverse harem with vampires... fuck me...and you. Joking, that's just some rad banter, broski. Oh wait, it wasn't. Because we've already been fucked by that huge ass red flag in a threeway. Sure, it may not sound that bad if you're generally int watching this kind of crappy boderline porn parody genre. I'm not quite sure if labelling this as a genre is a criminal offence but it probably is. Ahh yes, I love watching some poor, innocent girl being used as a bloodbag by some twilight try-hards without her consent. Not a violation at all! Quality content!! Oscar worthy storyline!!! Note the sarcasm, lovely. In total honesty, I only bothered watching this anime for a little giggle at how bad this was produced. That was until I realised how seriously messed up it was, it's quite worrying. How could anyone remotely humane create this for other people to see ? ? As for the plot? I'd talk more of it if i knew what it was. Let me know when you find out. It may sound like heaven to be surrounded by these mysterious, hot, seductive, manipulative, cock-roaches- sorry, vampires <3 but trust me, or any other of these sane reviews that it's horrid. This anime needs more than a touch of improvement here and there. It needs to be fucking demolished. This is coming from a person who never cared for the characters or the original game. Those poor things. 

In my sweet, noble opinion, the music was the only redeeming quality of this anime. The classical pieces were enchanting, incredibly well done compared to that shit show. The animation was so-so. Some details were reasonably beautiful but not my taste. Some of the hair was horrendous though. It looked so professionally illustrated, it's a shame it had to look the way it did on those codenscending twats. 

Motherfucking fuck fucking fuck fuck fucking fucking fucking ever-fucking fuck. The characters. Oh god, the characters. Lord have mercy upon us and forgive those who have sinned because I'm planning to go to heaven before i write about these little ratbags. If the 'storyline' wasn't bad enough, these abusers and vile cretins are most definitely the absolute worst part of this series. 

In short, the female protagonist was bland and too fucking dense. Sure she was the centre of the harem and apparently special and from a  pov game, but that's no excuse. Personality file was chucked out the car window, how could we possibly feel sorry for her then. As for hose vampires, they can go have more incestious relations with eachother for all I care. Their 'sad' backstories do not have flavour, they are pathetic. Which shows. These do not excuse them calling Yui rude names and treating her like fucking shit. They lack respect and any form of consideration. Sorry, feminisim doesn't exist here. But apparently it's okay because they're kind of good-looking. I would go more into depth and complain and slag them off but I'm getting pissed off and fed up.
