The Eleventh Striker is home of the epic trick shots. This fact cannot be more evident than in the epic climax/showdown between Conan and the culprit at the end of the film in the collapsing stadium. Besides all of the trick shots by the 10 strikers in the film and the Detective Boys, this film really stands out in terms of its action sequences. The mystery was very surface levela and the codes were way easier than a normal DC mystery. The worst part about this movie, though, was certainly all of the convenient plot devices where characters randomly show up and spell everything out for Conan and friends. This movie will be loved by fans of the DC franchise, but I don't think it's a good stand-alone movie for the casual anime lover.

This part is for Detective Conan fans: This movie added nothing interesting to any of the characters, somehow making even Conan feel flat (besides his INSANE skateboarding at the top of the movie and his wonderful foot work for the soccer moments). The only notable character moments were Haibara lowkey simping for Higo from the Osaka Bigs and the "white panties" gag in the post credit scene. Overall, nothing special for the franchise beyond action animations.
