Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero

Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero

After saving a fairy-tale kingdom, Akatsuki returns to the real world with his prize—Myuu, the busty daughter of the defeated Demon King. It’s one hell of a happy ending until they’re forced to enroll at a school for magic users. There, Akatsuki can’t keep his hands off the girls, Myuu’s constantly ballooning measurements...

Both shows have a school setting, demons and magic powers, a badass main character who's a hero/demon king, and fanservice aplenty. This is just a gut feeling based off the first episode of Hagure Yuusha no Estetica. If you liked one of these shows, the other probably appeals to you for the same reasons.

Same style and environment, But i feel that Hagure no Yuusha's hero is bit more serious at times compared to the demon lord. If you like one, youll like the other.

MaatiSan MaatiSan says

Although Ichiban Ushiro was done A LOT better, both have the typical cliche anime harem following a powerful hero that will change the world.  Both heroes are very easy going, and likable in a perverted/knowledgable sense.

The Familiar of Zero

The Familiar of Zero

In a world where magic is a reality, the young Louise is at the bottom of her class. Dubbed "Zero" by her classmates at Tristein Academy (due to her zero success rate for magic), Louise (along with all first year students) was charged with summoning a familiar; and instead of a cute magical creature, the familiar arrived in the form of... Each of these series are slightly ecchi, magic based comedy/action titles. In each show, the lead male finds out that they are actually some sort of legendary super powerful person that fights to save/change the world.

KittyEmperor KittyEmperor says

Each series features a man or well actually a boy who discover that they are some powerful person of legend in a magical world and as a result of this various types of girls end up falling for them.  Both series offer tend to follow more of a ecchi and comedy route with some fairly good action added in here and there.

Both are set in a magical academies and revolve around magic. There is a male protagonist that is given an awesome power, and have something to do with saving/changing the world. Also, both are based on ecchi elements combined with comedy.

Rosario + Vampire

Rosario + Vampire

Fifteen-year-old Tsukune Aono is average in every way; he has no hobbies, less-than-stellar grades and he's even flunked his high school entrance exam. His parents have managed to enroll him in a school, but it's no ordinary school! Tsukune will be attending the Youkai Academy, a place where monsters learn how to co-exist with humans! As the...

You will like the other one! Both Ecchi with lots of fan service! Also both Harem with lost of girls being attracted to the main character. The main character is a guy. The guy seems weak at first, but in Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou it turns out the main character is very strong. Also there are many exciting battles that deal with magic. Lastly both are very well scripted and have good stories. Main difference is that Rosario to Vampire is a lot funnier.

RedCrossRobbery RedCrossRobbery says

Demon King Daimao and Rosario to Vampire have a very similar feel tothem. Witches and magic all exist at a school made for monsters.

MrBlank MrBlank says

Rosario vampire and Daimaou both start with a young man starting a new school, but then the unexpected happens! In Daimaou he is told that he will become the Demon lord, While in Rosario to Vampire he discovers that the school is actually for monsters! As both series progress you get plenty of ecchi and comedy, and the relationships develop. I recommend both series due to their similarities in those regions.
