This anime is for those that want harsher themes and want to see action and guts. This anime has an amazing story and the sound and animation elements are above average. I highly recommend watching this anime if you are into a horror, action, comedy, or science fan. Plenty of mystery and supernatural elements in this anime as well.

If you are not enjoying the anime by episode one I would say that you perhaps will not like this anime (though most animes are like this). Episode one sets the tone for the series very well and if you can’t handle this episode then you should not watch this anime. If you are a Tokyo Ghoul fan or Parasyte fan this anime is for you. There is cussing and lots of adult conversation. This in my opinion makes the story more enjoyable however this means you kids should not watch this.

Ending: The anime was debuted in 2011 I believe and the mange finished in 2013 so you can guess the anime doesn’t have the finish ending like the mange. This anime really needs a second season though it seems unlikely. I still recommend watching this anime as it is very entertaining and really is short (12 Eps).

Overall Impression: The first episode was amazing and terrifying at the same time. I wasn’t expecting to be thrown into the anime so fast and to find myself feeling for the main character so fast. The anime is thoroughly entertaining and very awesome in repeats to action and unforgiving violence. There is comedy enough to make the gore easy to deal with. Which is why I loved this anime as the pacing was so good.

I wish there was a second season and that really bugs me about anime. I almost never watch anime that are not finished (cheers binge watchers). Regardless that the ending is just alright (for what it is) the anime is still worth watching and entertaining. Enough to make you not regret watching there 12 short episodes.

The story is unique. Its ending offers a devilish twist, without distorting the story negatively in any way nor is the twist a far reach. Its animation is quite well done but lacks anything mesmerizing. Its sound is very basic and standard. However, it's purely because of the time it was produced. Its characters are well built up, mostly unique in their own ways. Each with obvious flaws that add to the story. No character visibly dominates the others on screen, including the protagonist. Some may consider this as a negative, but personally I prefer characters with even distribution of strength. 

I love this anime. It is way underrated, but is totally worth the watch! Its such an heartwarming and amazing anime! The main character, Ganta Isgrashi is a sweet, loving character! In his jounry, he met many friends, including his bestie, Shiro. This is a killing game anime though. So please be advised. strict parents. TvT

But...tottally watch this anime when you wanna watch another killing game of happiness. IwI

This show has you sucked in right from the beginning. I found myself shocked and attached to the show in the first episode. There is plenty of action and a clasic 'falsely accused' story. It's takes a twist and remains interesting, but not quite my favorit type of anime. If you like action, you'll love this anime.

Gory and entertaining with an interesting twist however the ending sort of leaves on a cliffhanger and is just manga bait. To bad to because I really loved what this show could have become.
