As the superpower awoke, everyone was sparing no effort to cultivate. Lu Shu was the only one who could get stronger by collecting others’ negative feelings and calling people names! All he ever wanted was to protect his little sister, but no one could resist the trend of the world...Well, he'd just do what he had to do and thus become the strongest! Are you ready to welcome the "Super Demon" Lu Shu?

Satisfying Conclusion?✔️ (with season 2 in production as well to add to the story)Emotional?❌Actual Romance?❌Actual Comedy?✔️ (made me laugh several times)Fanservice/Nudity? ❌Recommend?✔️What is this anime?People in world start "awakening" and gaining supernatural powers. "Ruins" appear at the same time, which you can pretty much think of like a dungeon with a reward at the end. Most of the show is watching the MC's home and school life while he's getting used to his new-found powers.Did I enjoy it?WOW it had some issues but WOW I haven't looked forward to each new episode of a show like this in a long time. There's the OP MC (which I personally enjoy) trope but that's about it. The MC does many unexpected things, many of which are way-out-there and invoke a laugh from me. There are scenes where nothing is taken seriously, then there are scenes that are really down-to-earth where they act like real people undergoing these real life problems (especially in his home life). The english subs available as of now are pretty much all machine-translated... with pronouns he/she being put on wrong genders, and many sentences not making any sense (although you can usually get the jist of what's going on). Even with perfect subs though, I feel there are many things that aren't explained well in the show, like how he magically knows what his powers are and what they can do etc? But those issues barely distracted me from, as the other review I read says, the STYLE and absolute SWAG that this show brings to the table. Even if you try to stay away from Chinese animation, try it out, especially as it's the best so far I've personally seen. I watched Whited Nighttime after this and it reminded me just how refreshing this show is. p.s. i never watch openings i aint got time for that. and i only watched this one's opening once. but its a banger. main colors are white and gold which give a presence of that "royalty" or "divine" feel. When any other color other than white and gold are on screen, it's filled with vibrant scenes made of what looks like every color at the same time. I can see a person pausing it at almost any moment and getting a desktop-background worthy picture every time. oh and i used KR-T/Krigin's subs. good typesetting, but still the issues as mentioned earlier

I'll have to admit, this is not the best anime i've ever seen or anything. No mind blowing story, No amazing characters, the comedy is decent, it has everything that i would usually give a 5/10 or less BUT SHIT THIS ANIME HAS STYLE. The whole anime can be summed up by listening to the OP (opening) because the style combined with the interesting premise + comedy keeps me coming back. The F___ing STYLE and SWAG -Swag is such a dead word, but this anime really has no other words to describe it.-Main character and the general plot of the show just admits increadible amounts of swag and style, it is by no means a goody 2 shoes protaganist but his sass and style combined with the backstory given just makes him a surprisingly cheer-able character.-The characters are still likable as between the gags they do, you see a very down to earth human side to them which gives a weird serious/comedy development to the characters, which i thought i wouldn't like, but it's very well done.-The phrase better as you watch on is usually not true and just something people say to get you watching but this is for once an anime you can actually say "gets better as you watch" or at least the later episodes are increasingly better and has increasing amount swag-I will state this in a different point, but the backstory is not great but well used in this specific situation Some of the flaws -One problem i have with the show is the overused school setting, the setting is obviously more mature with the themes. The school setting actually doesnt matter in this anime, and it would just run normally if the main character was an young adult.-The side characters take away from the charm of the main character as later on we see/focus on the main character and there's when we see him shine.Overall, its one of the best (actually the best because i havent seen too many chinese animations) chinese animations. Its wacky and sassy, but compared to the rest of them that are just trying to copy (japanese) anime, 大王饶命 had their own style and feel to the whole show.Hopefully we can see more of this kind of chinese animation.
