Infinite Stratos

Infinite Stratos

The development of the Infinite Stratos powered exoskeleton changed the world’s balance of power. While the distribution of IS systems has created peace, only women have been able to pilot them. So when Ichika Orimura is discovered to be the first male with the ability to control an IS, whatever plans he had for his future are tossed out the window even as he’s thrown to the wolves and enrolled at the otherwise entirely female Infinite Stratos Academy by order of the Japanese government!

One guy. A nice guy who gives the best damn orgasmic massages ever. Ichika from IS is pretty dim when it comes to the ladies while Shindo of Date A Live II (And I) is pretty bright concerning ladies, considering that it's his job to get the women. But irregardless, they both get all the ladies in these guilty pleasure harem shows. Neither are extremely bright but both have their fanservice and at least one gal that's a favorite.

And if you're coming from IS, just watch the first season of Date A Live.

Both Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai and Date A Live II are fantasy, harem anime based around a 'normal-ish' high school boy. This boy meets a girls who is a little extraordinary and then he meets a bunch of other unusual girls. Of course the girls in Date A Live (both series) are 'sprits' so in term not human whereas the girls in Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai are just about human. So with this I think if you liked one of these anime you should like the other but if you are check out the first series of Date A Live before the second.

Sword Art Online

Sword Art Online

Kirito is one such gamer who's eager to jump back into action, having spent a great deal of time as a beta tester, and quickly becomes friends with newbie warrior Klein. But soon, Sword Art Online's 10,000 players discover that not only are they unable to log out, the only way they can return to their physical bodies is by beating the 100-level tower's final boss - that is, if their HP doesn't drop to zero first, for death in the game means death in the real world. Now, with no one else to turn to, Kirito and the other participants must survive the game as best they can – some forming guilds, others ruthlessly leaving their peers behind, and many tragically falling by the wayside or to the merciless monsters populating the lands...

This may seem to be a bit of a weird recommendation but that might just be me. Both are sci-fi slighlty but the main element that brings these two together is that they are both harems. Come on...it is clear, also the MC are quite similar they both have a girl they care about and are willing to do anything to help/save her. This is what is quite similar, also both set around a high school boy who gets involved in many adventures surrounding these girls. But obviously you would need to watch the first series before this second series. If you like SAO , I believe that you might find both series of Date A Live interesting.

Both harem based, MC works to save the girls he encounters from a supernatural force - and both have a portion of the show where the MC goes undercover disguised as a girl to befriend the "man-hater" heroine and make them fall for him.
