In a world where humans and human-animal chimeras live together, half-human criminals leave non-human clues that have the police stumped. Enter the "lone wolf" detective Hiroshi Inaba, who has the ability to extract information just by examining (or tasting) someone’s hair! While his methods are unorthodox, he's up against a half goat crime boss with an appetite for green legal tender. Can sheer dogged detective work put the baaaaad guys behind bars?

Type of comedy in the series similar to: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Space Dandy, and Dog & ScissorsCuticle Detective Inaba follows detective Hiroshi Inaba as he tries to pursue a criminal who happens to be a goat. He eats real money and the police are hoping to capture him once and for all but he is really sneaky.Hiroshi and his partner Ogi and his assistants get close to finding Don Valentino the goat criminal but due to their numerous silly fumblings along their way they never accomplish their goal. Still it is fun and hilarious to see just how they go about things in solving crimes. It helps that many of the allied criminals alongside Don Valentino are pretty nutty. They are almost as nutty as Hiroshi and his friends. The theme songs are suited nicely to the anime. The Opening Theme Song sung by Junichi Suwabe (Hiroshi Inaba) sounds in particular really wonderful. As for the Ending theme song it is sung by Toru Ohkawa (Don Valentino) which is incredibly sad yet cute. As for the voice acting all the characters do an amazing job to highlight how funny it can be and their performances make this series just beyond good. Voice actors and actresses that stand out are: Junichi Suwabe, Miyu Irino, Kousuke Toriumi, and Ai Fukada.I had also seen this series when it first began simulcasting as it aired. If were to be asked if recommend this series: It would be an instant yes!Genre: Comedy, Fantasy
This anime is agreat watch if you want something with a good story line, but more shenanigans than anything else. Got some good laughs outta this. Now the story is actually pretty interesting. A werewolf detective using hair to 'solve' cases is creative and the plot is something i think worth getting invested in. Even through all the silly things going on in every episode, every now and then the plot is brought to the front and you can understand what's going on clearly. Of course i do have a few issues with the worldbuilding but what bothers me is spoiler territory so you aint gonna see it in this review. What ain't spoilery though is the amount of whiplash I got with the sudden mood changes in the last few episodes, especially epsode 10... i think it was. But still, good enough for me! While animation isn't the crème de la crème, it definitely matches the overall vibe of the anime. Makes it that much more enjoyable. same goes with the audio! MMMMMMMMMM the characters. No one looking alike, everyone of their personalities are memerable, even if the character barely shows up and are very consistent. I will admit, the wolf designs look a little funky to me, bet meh whatever. LORENZO IS ABSOLUTE BABY. I adore him. I would be Lorenzo's Lorenzo. He is precious and my favorite character.
