Not surprising since it's the same team and author. The humor and animation is very similar. Even the set-up is similar with the MC surrounded by powerful but useless companions. Konosuba is just the better show overall so far though

It's easy to see that both shows share the same creators. Both stories have stupid people pulling off ridiculous stunts, and the shows've even got simular vibe and personality. If you like the comedy of this one, you're probably going to enjoy the other as well.

desacron desacron says...

both main characters don't take things to seriously and speak one way when their actions always out them for not being as bad as they want to seem.

Rayz9989 Rayz9989 says...

they're both comedic masterpieces, you can definitely sense that they have they come from the same creator, both have really great lighthearted vibes, I'd say combatants will be dispatched even has a bit more in the way of romantic undertones while konosuba definitely leans way more heavily friendship instead. most would agree that konosuba is the more refined counterpart, definitely seems like they took what worked in combatants will be dispatched and built upon it

Both anime are comedy with harem element blended in. They are just funny everyday in an isekai world.

Both anime are story about company that are the black / evil organization. However, even they say they are doing bad things but it is just a comedy which they are actually not too evil XD

Summoned to Another World for a Second Time

Summoned to Another World for a Second Time

There was once a hero who was summoned to another world, and he saved that world. However, the man was caught in a "trap" and was forcibly returned to his original world. On top of that, he had to start over as a baby… This is the story of a crazy journey in another world where a former hero who was reincarnated into a slightly gloomy high school student is "resummoned" back to that same world! There's a lot of room to work with when it's the second time, huh♪
