I watched this a while ago but I remember enough to conclude it reminded me of Claymore probably more than any anime with the ghost/gender swap out with his sister's spirit being the main difference. In essence, both stories feature women fighting monsters who are in one way or another, monsters themselves. Le Chevalier being a ghost out for revenge and Claymore being some kind of hybrid super monster who hunts others. These women fight hordes of monsters during the series and are not only exceptional swordswomen and fighters but extremely powerful. The stories of both series take place in about the same kind of setting/time period/and place. Event he artwork/animation can be said to have a few similarities though D'Eon might feel a tad older, the style is certainly similar.

Continuation of Berserk (2016).
No doubt this anime is very very very similar with Claymore in style. Sword mosters and badass fights... And plus an incredible storyline.

People with weapons, slicing things up is all that matters for these aciton anime. Lots of death and edge to be had all around, great for the kidz. The kidz has a Z because its edgier.

Her one friend and protector was Major Gilbert, who named the girl, taught her how to speak and write, and cared for her. But after being seriously injured in the war, losing both arms in the process, Violet is brought to the Evergarden household to recuperate. There, she trains to become an Auto Memories Doll: a person who writes letters for others, deciphering their true feelings and expressing it on paper. As Violet travels the world, she helps her clients find love and comfort through the letters she writes; but more importantly, she slowly begins to understand emotions, so that she can finally cope with what she’s done, and what she’s lost.

Both of these anime deal with similar things: discovering and experiencing emotions. In Violet Evergarden, we have a young woman trying to express emotion and in Claymore, we have a young woman trying to repress emotion. Although the execution may seem different on the surface level, when dug deeper, there are definite comparisons between the two.
If you're into watching anime for deconstructive purposes, giving the two of these a shot will be worth your while.

Not only do both of the animes have an intresting story, they both have crazy endings (In regards to the fact that both end on a crazy cliffhanger and have some nice twist endings).
Bloodthirsty demons lurk in the woods, and nobody dares to venture out at night, save for the demon slayer of legend. Surviving in this harsh world, young Tanjirou takes it upon himself to protect his family–until the day that everything is taken from him in a vicious slaughter. Now, all he has left is his sister, and she’s not even human anymore.

If you liked Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba or Claymore, you'd like the other because both of them have a setting in a older period of time. They also both have organizations that are dedicated to killing monsters that prey on humans.
Rumor has it that, in a certain guild in the middle of nowhere, there is an extraordinary man who has climbed all the way to the Silver rank just by killing goblins. At the same guild, a priestess who's just become a new adventurer has formed her first party... and the man who ends up rescuing that party when they get into trouble is none other than the Goblin Slayer.
Claymore is an obvious pick after Goblin Slayer. Fantasy setting, a dark general feel to it, bloody fight where lives an limbs are definitely at stake. Those are the elements they share. Loss and shock, overcoming crippling fear, painful defeats and desperate situations, obsession for revenge are common themes between them which set them apart from most other anime. Both are top notch dark fantasy.
